摘要: A system and method is provided for accessing information from a plurality of searchable information sources. The method includes the steps of: analyzing a user search query to determine a subject matter of the query; and selecting a sub-set of information from the plurality of information sources based upon the determined subject matter of the query. In further detailed embodiment, the analyzing step combines at least two methods of deriving the subject matter from the search query; and the method further includes the step of searching the information source(s) in the sub-set of information sources, substantially in parallel, for documents relevant to the search query. A system and method is also provided for searching a plurality of searchable information sources, where the information sources include at least one secure source. This method includes the steps of: (a) storing security credentials necessary for accessing the secure source; (b) accessing the secure source utilizing the stored security credentials; (c) accessing a non-secure source; (d) searching the accessed sources, substantially in parallel, for documents relevant to a search query; and (e) displaying results of the searching step.

摘要: In a pipeline architecture, an instruction fault status register (FSR) is used to save the reason for a fault between the time an instruction is fetched and when it is executed. Sequential faults for different reasons cause an overwrite of the FSR and invalid abort codes upon the execution of an instruction. This method and system of updating the FSR passes the abort code with the instruction through the pipeline to the execute stage where the FSR is updated.

摘要: A processor disclosed herein comprises a clock configured to drive clock signals and a processor pipeline having a plurality of stages. The processor includes processor idling circuitry, which is configured within the stages and is responsive to an idle_request signal. A first stage comprises a device for stopping incoming instruction values from being further processed when the idle_request signal is received. Also, at least two of the remaining stages comprise idle_flag logic configured to receive the idle_request signal, the idle_flag logic further configured to transmit an idle_flag through the processor pipeline.

摘要: The invention further includes a method and system for encouraging employees and employee managers to use the time keeping and expense entry server for entering and approving time entries. Thus, the employee is coupled to produce final time entries to the TKET server wherein the TKET server is coupled to produce the final time entries to an employee manager for approval. After receiving approval, the TKET server generates approved time entries to an accounting department terminal, and if appropriate, to a contract employer terminal so as to trigger invoicing and payment for the employee's labor. The TKET server also generates an award, if appropriate, to the employee of his manager for following specified time entry procedures.

摘要: A retainer clip for ribbon cable connectors comprises spaced, parallel feet which are received in transversely extending apertures extending through the female component of a ribbon cable connector. Legs extend upwardly and inwardly from the feet, and male component engaging arms extend from the upper ends of the legs for resiliently securing the male component in engagement with the female component of the connector. Camming members extend from the ends of the male component engaging arms and a handle extends from the ends of the camming members for connecting the two sides of the retainer clip.
