    摘要: Disclosed is a gas turbine fuel injector and swirler assembly, including: a delivery tube structure arranged on a central axis of the fuel injector and swirler assembly, a first fuel supply channel arranged in the delivery tube structure, a shroud surrounding the delivery tube structure, swirl vanes arranged between the delivery tube structure and the shroud, a radial passage in each swirl vane, communicating with the first fuel supply channel, a set of apertures open between the radial passage and the exterior surface of said each swirl vane, wherein a second fuel supply channel is arranged in the delivery tube structure extending to a downstream end of the delivery tube structure and a mixer with lobes for fuel injection is arranged at the downstream end. Further disclosed is an assembly method for assembling a fuel injector and swirler assembly.

    摘要: Modified forms of naturally occurring bacteriocins, such as the R-type pyocins of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, are disclosed as are methods for producing them in GRAS organisms. The bacteriocins are modified at the ends of their tail fibers in a region responsible for binding specificity and affinity to their cognate binding partners, or receptors, such as those on the surface of bacteria. Methods for the use of the modified bacteriocins, such as to bind receptors, including virulence or fitness factors, on the surfaces of bacteria, are also described.

    摘要: A connector includes a base and a connector member with a first end connected to the base and a second end opposite the first end. A first region on the connector member, located adjacent the first end, has a first impedance. A second region on the connector member, located adjacent the second end, has a second impedance greater than the first impedance. When an electro-statically charged device is connected to the connector, the electrostatic charge is dissipated relatively slowly due to initial contact with the second region of increased impedance, lowering the voltage resulting from the connection in order to protect static sensitive circuits coupled to the connector.

    摘要: A collapsible mobile stage may be folded into a configuration and the shape of a trailer that may be hauled by a truck. The collapsible mobile stage includes an elevated framework supported by telescoping columns. The elevated framework may be used to support lighting, audio and visual systems. The mobile stage also provides seating for an audience on either side of a central stage supported by a platform. The platform includes a central segment between two opposing lateral segments. The lateral segments may be folded up to form the sides of a trailer while the central segment forms the bottom of the trailer. Audience seating sections may be folded over the platform segments to create the roof of the trailer. Audience seating as well as the elevated framework may be stored within the trailer or within a secondary trailer.
