摘要： The invention relates to high molecular weight polycaprolactams containing monomeric units of the general formulae (I) and (II): ##EQU1## in which: M is an alkali metal; andR is an alkylene radical having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms or the radical, ##SPC1##Where M is as defined above,The polymer having a relative solution viscosity of from 1.1 to 3.5 (as measured on solutions of 1 g of polyamide in 100 ml of m-cresol at 25.degree.C) and containing sulphonate groups in a concentration range of from 40 to 2000 mval per kilogram of polymer.

摘要： This invention relates to a process for the preparation of a polycaprolactam which can be dyed with basic dyes and worked up from the melt to form products such as fibers or foils. The polycaprolactams contain structural elements of the formulae ##SPC1##WhereinM denotes an alkali metal andR denotes an alkylene group containing 4 - 12 carbon atoms.The process of the production of the polycaprolactams comprises precondensing the alkali metal salt of a dialkyl ester of 5-sulphoisophthalic acid in aqueous solution with an excess of hexamethylene diamine and adding caprolactam and an equivalent quantity based on the hexamethylene diamine excess of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid to the resulting aqueous precondensate and polycondensing the mixture.

摘要： This invention relates to antistatic compositions of high molecular weight linear aliphatic polyamides which are stabilized against yellowing due to the action of heat. These polyamides which may be formed into films or fibers, are prepared by the solvent-free condensation of salts of aliphatic diamines with aliphatic dicarboxylic acids and/or lactams and contain homogeneously distributed therein a composition of one or more polyoxyalkylene compounds and tertiary amides or diamides, having at least one tertiary amide group.
