    摘要: A silver halide photosensitive material having an improved antistatic property is disclosed, comprising a base support having thereon an electrically conductive layer comprised of fine particles of a crystalline metal oxide selected from the group consisting of ZnO, TiO.sub.2, ZrO.sub.2, SnO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, In.sub.2 O.sub.3, SiO.sub.2, MgO, BaO and MoO.sub.3 or a composite oxide thereof dispersed in a binder, the light scattering efficiency of said photosensitive material being 50% or less. The electrically conductive layer gives excellent antistatic properties even under low humidity preventing the generation of static charges without damaging photographic properties of the silver halide photosensitive material.

    摘要: To produce images at high speed, to conserve energy, and to be satisfactorily operated over the long run, a method fixes a toner onto an electrophotographic image-receiving sheet with the use of a belt fixing and smoothing apparatus and thereby forms an electrophotographic image. The belt fixing and smoothing apparatus includes a hot-pressing member, a belt member, a cooling device, and a cooling-releasing section. In the method, the total heat capacity per unit area in portions where the belt member, the toner, and the electrophotographic image-receiving sheet are in contact with one another is 840 J/K/m2 or less.

    摘要: Provided is an image forming process which can effectively suppress the occurrence of separation electrification between a belt surface layer and an image-receiving layer of an electrophotographic image-receiving sheet at a cooling and separation unit, prevent dust from adsorbing to charges at each surface thereof, and print high quality images having near-photographic quality, in which a belt-fixing smoothing device having a heating and pressuring member, a belt member, a cooling device, and a cooling and separating unit is used to conduct fixing treatment to an electrophotographic image-receiving sheet. In this case, a surface resistivity (SR1) of one side of the image-receiving sheet on which an image is formed satisfies the formula 1.0×109 Ω/cm2≦SR1≦1.0×1014 Ω/cm2, and a surface resistivity (SR2) of one side of the belt member which becomes in contact with the image satisfies the formula SR2≦1.0×1014 Ω/cm2.

    摘要: A self-photography apparatus has an imaging device for picking up an image signal representing a facial image of a human object, a determination device for determining the size of face of the human object. In accordance with the determined face size, the magnification of the image is adjusted so as to make the facial image have a predetermined size in a photograph. The determination device is comprised of a monitor display displaying a video facial image of the human object and indices as the scale of the face size. The magnification of image is changed by manually or automatically changing the object distance or mechanically changing the focal length of a taking lens device. When making a photograph by video printing, the determination device may be a controller determining the face size on the basis of the image signal, an image magnification conversion circuit converts the magnification of image in accordance with the face size determined by the controller. Based on the magnification-converted image signal, a video printer records the facial image on a photosensitive material.
