    摘要: The present invention is to provide an image-receiving material, such as an image-receiving sheet, for electrophotography, which is excellent in smoothness (gloss), touch and sheet passing property and usable for the photography and which is free from adhesion or blocking to each other during the storage. The present electrophotographic image-receiving material comprises a support, and a toner image-receiving layer containing a thermoplastic resin formed on the support. Organic particles having a glass transition temperature or melting point not higher than a fixing temperature at which an image is fixed on said toner image-receiving layer are incorporated into the toner image-receiving layer or a second layer forming the electrophotographic image-receiving sheet other than the toner image-receiving layer on the toner image-receiving layer side of said support. In addition, the center line average height on the surface of the support is 0.01 to 5 μm and a releasing agent selected from the group consisting of silicon compounds, fluorine compounds and waxes is incorporated into the toner image-receiving layer or any additional layer.

    摘要: A silver halide photosensitive material having an improved antistatic property is disclosed, comprising a base support having thereon an electrically conductive layer comprised of fine particles of a crystalline metal oxide selected from the group consisting of ZnO, TiO.sub.2, ZrO.sub.2, SnO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, In.sub.2 O.sub.3, SiO.sub.2, MgO, BaO and MoO.sub.3 or a composite oxide thereof dispersed in a binder, the light scattering efficiency of said photosensitive material being 50% or less. The electrically conductive layer gives excellent antistatic properties even under low humidity preventing the generation of static charges without damaging photographic properties of the silver halide photosensitive material.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for preparation of a charge-regulatory agent characterized by reacting an amino acid with a titanium compound in an organic solvent to form a reaction mixture and further reacting the resultant reaction mixture with water which is equimolar or more to said titanium compound, and a liquid developer for development of an electrostatic image comprising a dispersion of resin-containing toner particles dispersion in a carrier solution having an electric resistance of 10.sup.9 .OMEGA..multidot.cm or more and a dielectric constant of 3.5 or less and containing said charge-regulatory agent prepared as mentioned above.When an electrostatic latent image is developed with the present liquid developer containing the special charge-regulatory agent, an image of excellent resolving power, good half-tone reproduction and excellent gradation may be obtained without the occurence of any image flow.

    摘要: An image forming process which comprises image-wise exposing a photosensitive material to light, the photosensitive material comprising a support and a substrate with a photopolymerizable material therebetween, and stripping off the support to leave either exposed areas or non-exposed areas of the photopolymerizable material on the substrate, in which the photopolymerizable material is characterized by comprising at least two different photopolymerizable layers which each comprise one or more addition polymerizable monomers, one or more photopolymerization initiators and one or more binders, which photopolymerizable layers are placed adjacent the support and the substrate, wherein at least one of the ingredients or the ratio of the ingredients of the photopolymerizable layers is different in at least the two different photopolymerizable layers, and the photopolymerizable layers have the relationship of C>A>B and C'>B'>A' or C>B>A and C'>A'>B', wherein:A is the adhesive strength between the support and the photopolymerizable layer adjacent thereto;B is the adhesive strength between the substrate and the photopolymerizable layer adjacent thereto;C is the lowest adhesive strength of all the adhesive strengthes between any two photopolymerizable layers among the layers, A' is the adhesive strength between the support and the photopolymerizable layer adjacent thereto after exposure to light, B' is the adhesive strength between the substrate and the photopolymerizable layer adjacent thereto after exposure to light, and C' is the lowest adhesive strength of all the adhesive strengths between any two photopolymerizable layers among the photopolymerizable layers after exposure to light.

    摘要: To produce images at high speed, to conserve energy, and to be satisfactorily operated over the long run, a method fixes a toner onto an electrophotographic image-receiving sheet with the use of a belt fixing and smoothing apparatus and thereby forms an electrophotographic image. The belt fixing and smoothing apparatus includes a hot-pressing member, a belt member, a cooling device, and a cooling-releasing section. In the method, the total heat capacity per unit area in portions where the belt member, the toner, and the electrophotographic image-receiving sheet are in contact with one another is 840 J/K/m2 or less.
