A broadcasting transmitting apparatus splits a piece of broadcast content into an audio signal and a video signal, encodes the audio signal to generate an audio bit string, encodes the video signal to generate a video bit string, multiplexes the audio bit string and the video bit string, and modulates the multiplexed bit strings into a symbol. The encoded audio bit string is allocated to some bits of the symbol, and the encoded audio bit string is allocated to the remaining bits of the symbol.

In the present invention, channel bonding information includes at least one of information indicating whether or not a channel through which the transport frame is transmitted is a bonded channel, information indicating how many channels form the bonded channel, and information about a transmission frequency of each of the bonded channels.

An apparatus for controlling load allocation in a cluster system includes a cluster module having a plurality of target nodes and a cluster power management module. The cluster power management module analyzes resource usage of the target nodes by monitoring the load states of the target nodes. The cluster power management module adaptively allocates loads to the target nodes based on the analyzed resource usage and N allocation thresholds settled in response to an increase of the analyzed resource usage. The cluster power management module controls the target nodes so that the power state can be changed with the adaptively allocated loads.

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for a scalable broadcast. The method includes scalably dividing a broadcast frequency band into segments, scalably dividing a video image into segments, and linking the segment of the broadcast frequency band to the scalably divided video image, and broadcasting the linked segments to at least one receiving apparatus.

A multi-layered knowledge base system and a processing method thereof are provided. In the system, semantic space learning of converting learning data into a semantic vector, which is a vector of semantic space, by learning a transformation function based on a plurality of learning data is performed. Then, relational knowledge learning of acquiring a relation between the semantic vectors by learning a relation function based on the semantic vectors obtained by the semantic space learning is performed. The acquired relation is converted into graph knowledge. The graph knowledge uses the relation as an edge and the semantic vector corresponding to the relation as a node.

A method of detecting a roll-off period in an OFDM downstream system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include: generating a temporary roll-off period by applying a windowing function to a signal having a preset length; and detecting a roll-off period based on any one of a cross correlation and a sum of differences between a detection target signal included in a range of two OFDM symbol signals based on a detection starting point, and the temporary roll-off period.

A method of estimating an integer frequency offset and compensating for the integer frequency offset by an estimated error is provided. A frequency offset estimation method may include receiving a reception signal including PLC data and a physical layer link channel (PLC) preamble, detecting first position information on a position of a subcarrier of the PLC preamble in a frequency axis from the reception signal through a cross-correlation between the PLC preamble and the reception signal, detecting second position information on the position of the subcarrier of the PLC preamble defined in a transmission end by restoring the PLC data, and calculating a frequency offset by comparing the first position information with the second position information.

A method and apparatus for providing a mobile broadcasting service over a cable broadcasting network are provided. A mobile broadcast signal and a cable broadcast signal are transmitted over the cable broadcast network. The cable broadcast signal and the mobile broadcast signal are filtered to pass the mobile broadcast signal, and the passed mobile broadcast signal is sent to a mobile broadcast terminal.
