摘要: A detection circuit for detecting a transmission directionality of a transmission line is provided. The detection circuit includes a sending terminal, a receiving terminal, a detection signal generator, a comparison circuit, and an output circuit. The sending terminal is connected to a first terminal of a transmission line. The receiving terminal is connected to a second terminal of the transmission line. The detection signal generator provides a detection signal to the sending terminal. The comparison circuit receives the detection signal and a transmission signal from the receiving terminal, and compares the detection signal and the transmission signal to generate a comparison result. The output circuit outputs one of a first detection result signal and a second detection result signal according to the comparison result.

摘要: Ethernet link extension methods and devices provide, in one illustrative embodiment, an Ethernet link extender with physical medium attachment (PMA) circuits each having a transmitter and receiver that communicate with a respective node in a sequence of communication phases. The sequence includes at least an auto-negotiation phase and a subsequent training phase, the phases occurring simultaneously for both PMA circuits. In the auto-negotiation phase, the PMA circuits operate in a pass-through mode, rendering the extender transparent to the two nodes. In the training phase, the PMA circuits operate independently, sending training frames to their respective nodes based in part on received back-channel information and locally-determined training status information. The training phases may be prolonged if needed to provide a simultaneous transition to a frame-forwarding phase of the sequence.

摘要: The present disclosure proposes a receiving device, an abnormality detecting method, and an abnormality detecting program, which are capable of detecting an abnormality related to a reference signal after the reference signal is outputted. The receiving device includes an output part, an input part, and processing circuitry. The output part outputs a first signal that is a periodical reference signal generated based on a positioning signal to a first transmission line connected to an external device. The input part accepts an input of a second signal that is a returning signal of the first signal of the first transmission line from the external device side via a second transmission line. The processing circuitry detects an abnormality related to the reference signal based on a signal characteristic of the second signal.

摘要: A system includes a plurality of controllers associated with the plurality of units of building equipment, each controller comprising a plurality of communication ports, a plurality of cables connected to the plurality of communication ports and linking together the plurality of controllers, wherein the plurality of controllers are configured to self-identify a break in a connection between two the plurality of controllers by monitoring statuses of the plurality of communication ports. The system also includes circuitry configured to receive a signal indicative of the order of the connections between the plurality of controllers from the plurality of controllers, generate a graphical map of the order of the connections between the plurality of controllers based on the signal, receive, from the plurality of controllers, an indication of a break in a connection between two of the plurality of controllers, and update the graphical map to indicate the connection as broken.
