Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of receiving, by a terminal, an additional network service provided through a temporary base station disposed temporarily or locally in order to transfer disaster information, including: receiving information on the additional network through an existing network service provided by a base station; verifying whether the terminal is handed over to the additional network based on the information on the additional network; and receiving the additional network service through the additional network. According to the present invention, even when a communication service disability occurs due to a flood of telephone traffic in an area where a disaster situation or an event occurs, a communication service can be provided through the additional network in terms of the communication service and a broadcasting channel that provides information specific to the disaster situation or event can be temporarily or locally additionally provided.
Abstract:
A skin expansion apparatus comprises a chamber accommodating a culture medium in which a skin piece is put, and at least two clamps to fix the skin piece. The clamps pull the skin piece in an outward direction to apply tensile force to the skin piece in a state in which the skin piece is put in the culture medium.
Abstract:
An apparatus of transmitting data in a multi-carrier system includes: a plurality of pulse-shaping filters for performing pulse shaping of incoming data symbols during a set pulse-shaping period; and a plurality of frequency converters convert signals that are pulse-shaped by the plurality of pulse-shaping filters into signals with frequency bands for a plurality of subcarriers.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus and method for expanding skin capable of expanding autologous skin to the maximum extent and performing a tissue culture of skin at the outside of the body. While an apparatus for expanding autologous skin of body's outside in general takes a form of expanding skin by applying a certain amount of constant force for a period of time regardless of the skin properties, the apparatus and method for expanding skin according to the embodiment of the present invention expands the skin to the maximum extent without rupturing the skin based on measurements of elasticity of the skin to find the maximum expanded area reachable just before rupturing of the skin.
Abstract:
A Faster-Than-Nyquist (FTN)-based transmitting apparatus segments an input data bit string into a plurality of partial bit strings, simultaneously channel-encodes each of the plurality of partial bit strings, simultaneously modulates each of the plurality of channel encoded bit strings to generate a plurality of modulation symbol sequences, and then pulse-shapes and transmits the plurality of modulation symbol sequences at a speed faster than a Nyquist rate.
Abstract:
A transmitting apparatus generates a modulation pattern code corresponding to an input security key and modulates and transmits the bit stream with a corresponding modulation method for a duration of a corresponding modulation method while changing a modulation method according to the generated modulation pattern code.
Abstract:
A frost prediction system includes: a weather observation data collection sensor attached to a meteorological station and configured to collect weather observation data and to transmit real-time weather observation data to a server; a training data generation unit configured to generate frost prediction training data by using the collected weather observation data; and a frost prediction unit configured to perform frost prediction for the next day by applying the generated frost prediction training data to a frost learning model.
Abstract:
A signal transmitting and receiving method and an apparatus for selecting an interference pattern from a security key and transmitting and receiving a signal based on the selected interference pattern are provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for a scalable broadcast. The method includes scalably dividing a broadcast frequency band into segments, scalably dividing a video image into segments, and linking the segment of the broadcast frequency band to the scalably divided video image, and broadcasting the linked segments to at least one receiving apparatus.
