A traffic mobility method between heterogeneous access networks of a wireless communication system includes, as a user equipment (UE) multiply accesses a first access network and a second access network, configuring a first transmission path corresponding to the first access network and a second transmission path corresponding to the second access network with respect to the UE, by a gateway, determining whether traffic mobility is performed on each traffic flow based on a traffic mobility policy of the each traffic flow served to the UE through the first transmission path and a transmission state of the second access network, by a control entity, and changing a transmission path of a traffic flow on which traffic mobility is determined, to the second transmission path from the first transmission path, by the gateway.

A method for releasing a context of a user equipment in a non-3GPP access network and a network entity performing the same are disclosed. In a case in which the UE is a unreachable state, a non-3GPP interworking function (N3IWF) may a UE context release request message to an access and mobility management function (AMF), and may perform protocol data unit (PDU) session user plane de-activation between the AMF, a session management function (SMF), and a user plane function (UPF). In addition, the AMF may transmit a UE context release command message to the N3IWF, and the N3IWF may transmit a UE context release complete message to the AMF.

An apparatus of controlling a data traffic in a packet based mobile communication system and a method thereof according to the present invention are disclosed. The apparatus of controlling a data traffic in a packet based mobile communication system according to another aspect of the present invention includes an extracting unit configured to, if a message which requests to create a dedicated bearer, extract at least one characteristic parameter included in the received message, a determining unit configured to determine whether the dedicated bearer is set through the load distribution gateway based on the at least one extracted characteristic parameter, an already set regulation or condition; and a creating unit configured to create a message which requests to set the dedicated bearer as a result of the determination.

Provided are an apparatus and a method for computing a path for forwarding user data through the following steps: receiving a state measurement value or a state prediction value corresponding to the state measurement value of a state of a plurality of network resources within a mobile core network and a transport network; and computing the path for forwarding the user data, on the basis of either the state measurement value or the state prediction value, and topology of the mobile core network and topology of the transport network.

Disclosed are a data offloading apparatus and method. The data offloading apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an analysis unit configured to analyze a type of a packet and a provision unit configured to provide the packet to an Internet network through a mobile core network or through a route of bypassing the mobile core network on the basis of the type of the packet. According to the present invention, a terminal can transmit data to the Internet network through the mobile core network or the route of bypassing the mobile core network according to characteristics of the data.
