    摘要: A method of manufacturing a thin film transistor array panel is provided, which includes: forming a gate line on a substrate; depositing a gate insulating layer and a semiconductor layer in sequence on the gate line; depositing a lower conductive film and an upper conductive film on the semiconductor layer; photo-etching the upper conductive film, the lower conductive film, and the semiconductor layer; depositing a passivation layer; photo-etching the passivation layer to expose first and second portions of the upper conductive film; removing the first and the second portions of the upper conductive film to expose first and second portions of the lower conductive film; forming a pixel electrode and a pair of redundant electrodes on the first and the second portions of the lower conductive film, respectively, the redundant electrodes exposing a part of the second portion of the lower conductive film; removing the exposed part of the second portion of the lower conductive film to expose a portion of the semiconductor layer; and forming a columnar spacer on the exposed portion of the semiconductor layer.

    摘要: A positive active material for a rechargeable lithium battery is provided. The positive active material includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of lithiated compounds, a metal oxide layer formed on a surface of the compound and metal oxide masses adhered on the metal oxide layer. The positive active material is produced by coating a compound with a metal alkoxide solution, an organic solution of a metal salt or an aqueous solution of a metal salt and heat-treating the coated compound. The compound is selected from the group consisting of lithiated compounds. Thereafter, the heat-treated compound is slow-cooled to 100 to 500° C. and the cooled compound is quenched to room temperature.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a negative active material for a lithium rechargeable battery and a method of preparing the same, and the negative active material prepared by coating a carbon source with a coating liquid, and drying the carbon source, and the negative active material comprises a core having a carbon source with surface-treatment layer formed on the surface of the core, the surface-treatment layer having at least one compound of coating element selected from the group cosnsisting of amorphous, semi crystalline, or crystalline hydroxides, oxyhydroxides, oxycarbonates, and hydroxidecarbonates.The present invention provides a negative active material coated with a surface-treatment layer of a coating-element-included hydroxide, a coating-element-included oxyhydroxide, a coating-element-included oxycarbonate, or a coating-element-included hydroxycarbonate, and thereby a battery having the negative active material has less change in thickness after expansion of the active material, that is, from 12.2% to 5.3%, and furthermore, cycle-life characteristics are improved (7% or more improvement at the 200th cycle) and voltage characteristics are improved (0.04 V or more improvement at the 200th cycle).
