    摘要: A locking device including both a mechanical lock operable with a key and an electrical lock, operable from the same key. The device includes an electrical circuit for operating the electrical lock. The electrical circuit has a microprocessor and memory which stores the identity of keys authorized to open both the mechanical lock and electrical lock. A master key is provided which includes at one end a connector which engages a connector within the mechanical lock when inserted. Information is read from the master key, identifying a set of keys which are authorized to open the lock. Whenever a key from the set of authorized keys is inserted in the lock, an identification number is read through a contact member from a memory associated with the key, and an electrical signal is generated by the electric circuit of the lock to operate the electrical lock.

    摘要: A puncturing system includes a carrier tape carrying multiple lancets and having position marks, a device housing that comprises a conveying facility for positioning the lancets consecutively in a usage position by moving the carrier tape in a conveying direction and has a housing opening for touching against a body part in which a puncture is to be made by a puncturing motion of one of the lancets, a puncturing drive for accelerating one of the lancets that is positioned in the usage position for the puncturing motion, a storage medium on which distance values for the lancets are stored, the distance values depending on distances between the lancets of the carrier tape and position marks allocated to the respective lancets, a a sensor for detecting position marks in a detection position through which the position marks proceed upon a motion of the carrier tape that is effected by the conveying facility, and a control unit that is connected to the sensor for controlling the conveying facility, wherein, in order to position a lancet in the usage position, the control unit is configured for stopping the conveying facility as soon as the carrier tape has been moved by a positioning distance starting from a tape position, in which a position mark has reached the detection position, wherein the length of the positioning distance depends on the distance between the lancet to be positioned and the detected position mark and is determined by the control unit by utilizing the distance value that is stored on the storage medium for the lancet to be positioned.

    摘要: There is disclosed a method for controlling a photometric measuring unit of a measuring device for a bodily fluid sample, wherein a test field partially wetted by a bodily fluid sample is illuminated and light from a measuring area that covers a portion of the test field of the measuring unit is fed to a detector of the measuring unit, and the measuring area is displaced relative to the test field toward a partial surface wetted by the fluid sample and past the partial surface. The intensity of a detector signal is detected during the displacement, an extreme value in the course of the detector signal is determined, the measuring area is brought back to the position in which an extreme detector signal was previously measured, and the position of the measuring area in which the detector signal is extreme is used for a photometric determination of concentration.
