    Abstract: Method and machine (14) to manufacture a coil (11) around a component (1) of an article. It is provide to: move, by means of a main conveyor ((1155)) and along an assembling path (P), a carriage (16) provided with a seat (18) designed to house the component (1); place, in an input station (SI) arranged along the assembling path (P), the component (1) in the seat (18) of the carriage (16); wind, in a winding station (S5) arranged along the assembling path (P) downstream of the input station (SI), an externally insulated conductor wire (13) around the component (1) in order to obtain a series of turns making up the coil (11); lock an initial end of the wire (13) to the carriage (16) before starting to wind the wire (13); and lock a final end of the wire (13) to the carriage (16) at the end of the winding of the wire (13).

    Abstract: A manufacturing machine and method for producing a cartridge for an electronic cigarette includes a first assembling drum mounted rotatable around a first rotation axis and has a first seat to house a support of a heating device coupled to a wick with an electrical coil, and a second seat axially aligned with the first seat and designed to house a tank. At a first feeding station, a support of a heating device coupled to a wick with an electrical coil is fed into the first seat. At a second feeding station, a tank is fed into the second seat. A first insertion station is arranged downstream of the first and second feeding stations and provided with a first pushing device, which axially moves the support of a heating device from the first seat to the second seat to insert the support into a tank carried by the second seat.

    Abstract: A manufacturing machine and a method for producing a cartridge for an electronic cigarette having a base, a supporting base at least partly inserted inside the base, of a heating member fitted to the supporting base, having a hygroscopic pad surrounding the heating member are disclosed: a conveyor, which comprises a gripper designed to house the supporting base fitted with the heating member; a feed device for positioning the hygroscopic pad, initially flat and rectangular in shape, facing the gripper; and an insertion device for inserting the supporting base fitted with the heating member inside the gripper so as to intercept the hygroscopic pad which, as it is inserted inside the gripper, folds into a ‘U’ around the heating member.

    Abstract: Method and machine to manufacture a coil around a component of an article includes a main conveyor that moves along a working path and a carriage with a seat to house the component. Along the working path, the component is arranged in the seat of the carriage in an input station, and at a winding station, a wire having a diameter less than 500 μm is directly wound around the component for a winding time ranging from 50% to 70% of the total work cycle, to obtain the coil with a number of turns less than 50. A work cycle lasts from an initial instant, in which the carriage carrying the component without the coil reaches the winding station, to a final instant, in which the carriage carrying the component with the coil leaves the winding station.
