Abstract:
A vaporizer cartridge filling device can comprise a fluid dispenser comprising a dispensing end and a driving end and a frame. The driving end can comprise a motor connected to the frame by a motor mount wherein the motor is connected to a coupling connected to a threaded rod. A support track can be attached to the motor mount and the frame by one or more surface brackets wherein the support track has a rail where at least one bearing can moves on. The dispensing end comprises a carriage that is connected to a syringe push block wherein the push block holds a syringe handle and the syringe handle is attached to a syringe plunger wherein the syringe push block and syringe handle moves as the motor rotates the threaded rod and the carriage translates up or down on the threaded rod.
Abstract:
An apparatus for filling a container with a flowable product from a product supply includes a filling station that receives the flowable product from the product supply. The filling station includes (i) a line through which the flowable product flows between the product supply and the container, (ii) a fill valve that is configured to selectively control flow of the flowable product within the line, and (iii) a capacitive sensor configured so that during a filling operation the capacitive sensor is operable to sense, through the container, when the flowable product reaches a predetermined fill level within the container. The capacitive sensor is positioned outside and spaced apart from the container during the filling operation. Additionally, at least a portion of the capacitive sensor is positioned below a mouth of the container being filled during the filling operation.
Abstract:
A method and unit for filling a disposable electronic cigarette cartridge with a liquid substance; a conveyor feeds the disposable cartridge along a filling path; a coupling device fits the disposable cartridge with a metering chamber, which is placed on top of the disposable cartridge, is of sufficient volume to contain a full measure of the liquid substance, and has a bottom outlet conduit terminating inside the disposable cartridge; a feed device feeds the liquid substance into the metering chamber so that the liquid substance falls by gravity from the metering chamber, along the outlet conduit, into the disposable cartridge; and a removing device removes the metering chamber from the disposable cartridge once all the liquid substance has fallen by gravity from the metering chamber, along the outlet conduit, into the disposable cartridge.
Abstract:
The metering apparatus for the volumetric metering of pourable filler includes a housing and a metering slider which is movable relative to the housing. The housing and the slider conjointly define a metering chamber. The slider is configured as a vertical slider with a stroke axis. The housing includes a guide surface for the slider which extends in the direction of the stroke axis. The slider has a boundary surface corresponding to the guide surface and abuts in a sliding manner against the guide surface. A metering recess is introduced into the slider proceeding from the boundary surface and/or into the housing proceeding from the guide surface. With the slider in a stroke position wherein the metering recess is covered by the guide surface and/or by the boundary surface, the metering chamber is formed by the metering recess, the guide surface and/or the boundary surface.
Abstract:
Viscous compositions are metered discontinuously into storage vessels such as tubes, tubs, or cartridges, from a stable volume container free of dead space wherein the calculated volume, expressed as the mathematical product of adiabatic compressibility coefficients of the composition, the outlet pressure, and volume of the container exceed the metered volume.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods are provided for controlling flow of a flowable material. The flowable material passes from a product supply through one or more valves which are coupled to a controller. The controller is also coupled to one or more sensors operable to generate a signal indicating whether flowable product is present or not present at a specific level within a container. The controller is programmed to operate the valves based on signals received from the sensors. The sensors may be associated with the feed container and used to control metering of flowable product out of the feed container, or they may be associated with a container and used to control filling of the container with flowable product.
Abstract:
A fluid manifold system includes a manifold port assembly having a housing with an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports formed thereon and a carousel having a plurality of spaced apart fluid paths that extend therethrough from a first end to an opposing second end. The carousel is rotatably coupled with the housing so that when the first end of each fluid path is aligned with the inlet port on the housing, the second end of each fluid path is aligned with a corresponding different one of the plurality of outlet ports. A container is fluid coupled to each outlet port by a fluid line. The inlet port can be selectively coupled with a fluid source while a motor can control rotation of the carousel relative to the housing.
Abstract:
A mixing, processing, sealing and bottling machine for substances used to prepare cosmetics is provided. The machine is driven by external means and includes a cabinet, where command panels are externally placed and a bottling station. The devices are used by a user to prepare cosmetics and related products comprising chemicals or natural substances prescribed in personal formulas originating from prescriptions from professionals or pre-programmed formulations. The machine can be connected to a printing device for printing the formula or recording means for recording the formula.
