摘要： An access point (AP) may be configured by processing circuitry to operate as a coordinator AP for performing BSS channel level coordination. The coordinator AP is configured to assign non-overlapping channels to one or more coordinated APs of overlapping BSSs to schedule time-sensitive traffic to help ensure bounded latency, jitter and reliability per BSS. In some embodiments, the AP may be configured for performing transmission level coordination and may initiate a coordinated transmission opportunity (TXOP) for resource assignment to control contention access among managed BSSs. To perform the BSS channel level coordination, the coordinator AP is configured to encode a multi-AP trigger frame (M-TF) to initiate the coordinated TXOP. The M-TF may be encoded to include a time-sensitive operation IE indicating how each STA is to access the channel within the coordinated TXOP.

摘要： Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The AP may be configurable for multi-band operation in a plurality of frequency bands, each frequency band comprising one or more channels. The AP may select a subset of the frequency bands for which the AP is to request per-band channel availability information from the STA. The AP may transmit a Trigger Frame (TF) for a multi-band bandwidth query report polling (MB-BQRP) to request the per-band channel availability information. The AP may receive an uplink frame that includes a multi-band bandwidth query report (MB-BQR) that indicates the per-band channel availability information. The AP may determine, based on the MB-BQR, for an uplink transmission by the STA: one or more frequency bands of the subset of frequency bands, and one or more corresponding channels.

摘要： A multi-link access point (AP) device is configured for multi-link operation to communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) over a plurality of corresponding links. A multi-link policy element is encoded for transmission to the non-AP STAs to signal a multi-link policy. The multi-link policy element comprises a common policy sub-element and a plurality of link-specific policy sub-elements. The common policy sub-element is applicable to all links. Each of the link-specific policy sub-elements is applicable to a single link. The link-specific policy sub-elements comprise at least a first link-specific policy sub-element applicable to a first link and a second link-specific policy sub-element applicable to a second link. The common policy sub-element defines a link policy for all links that have been set up between the multi-link AP device and the non-AP STAs. Each link-specific policy element defines a link policy specific to an associated link.

The AP1 may to initiate a first sounding sequence with one or more STAs associated with the AP1 (BSS STAs) and the one or more STAs associated with a second AP (AP2) (OBSS STAs). A device may identify, using an 802.3 protocol stack, an 802.3 frame received from a second device using a wired Ethernet connection, and extract, using the 802.3 protocol stack, a redundancy tag from the 802.3 frame, the redundancy tag including a sequence number. The device may generate, using an 802.11 protocol stack, an 802.11 frame with a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) field, the SNAP field including an organizationally unique identifier (OUI) and the sequence number, the OUT including an indication of an Ethertype protocol. The device may send the 802.11 frame using a wireless connection.

摘要： To communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) within synchronized transmission opportunities (S-TXOPs), an access point station (AP) performs an initial management frame exchange with the STAs. During the initial management frame exchange, one or more sets of semi-static allocation parameters are signalling to the STAs. Each set of semi-static allocation parameters is associated with an allocation index (IDx). The AP may communicate data with the STAs during S-TXOPs that follow the initial management frame exchange. Each of the S-TXOPs may include an S-TXOP trigger. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include one of the allocation indices to indicate a known allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when a set of the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are to be used. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include full allocation information to indicate a new allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are not used.
