    Abstract: The application relates to a user equipment configured to communicate using a first signal or channel via a first resource with a first device and using a second signal or channel via a second resource with a second device. The user equipment is configured to: measure the first signal or channel in the first resource for a beam or link failure detection; and, in response to a detected failure in the first resource, transmit the second signal or channel via the second resource to the second device for a failure recovery request. The first device can be a further user equipment and the second device can be a base station, wherein the first resource is a sidelink resource between the user equipment and the further user equipment and the second resource is an uplink resource between the user equipment and the base station.

    Abstract: A processing device in a transmit-receive point for interference-aware beam pair selection, a transmit-receive point and a method are disclosed. The processing device is configured to select a beam pair from a set of candidate beam pairs (i, j), for setting up a communication link from a serving transmit device to a receive device via the selected beam pair, wherein each of the candidate beam pairs comprises a transmit beam j of the serving transmit device and a receive beam i of the receive device, wherein the selection is based on statistics of a usage of one or more interfering transmit beams (m, k) of one or more interfering transmit devices m, and k represents one or more transmit beams.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a network device, in particular a User Equipment (UE) or a base station (BS), of a group of network devices involved in a cooperative passive positioning (CPP) operation comprising at least two network devices for detecting and positioning at least one target object. One example network device is configured to apply an operation mode from one or more of: initiating network device for initiating a CPP measurement, transmitting network device for transmitting a radio signal to scan for an environment of the network device, receiving network device for receiving a reflection signal based on a reflection of the radio signal from the at least one target object, and data fusion network device for detecting and positioning the at least one target object based on at least one of the reflection signal or a Line-of-Sight (LOS) signal.
