    Abstract: This application provides a method for managing an antenna panel, a network device, and a terminal device. The method includes: a network device receives capability information that is of an antenna panel and that is from a terminal device, and sends an activation command and/or a deactivation command to the terminal device, so that the terminal device performs a corresponding operation. In embodiments of this application, the network device assists the terminal device in managing an antenna panel, so that the terminal device can better manage the antenna panel, thereby reducing overheads of the terminal device.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: using, by a terminal device, a first receive parameter to receive control information sent by a network device, where the control information is used to indicate a second receive parameter used by the terminal device to receive a to-be-transmitted signal; determining, by the terminal device based on a first antenna panel to which the first receive parameter belongs and a second antenna panel to which the second receive parameter belongs, a beam switching time required for switching from the first receive parameter to the second receive parameter; and receiving, by the terminal device, the to-be-transmitted signal based on the beam switching time.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a beam switching method and a related device. Under the method a first subframe sent by a base station by using a first beam can be received by a terminal device. The first subframe includes first-order downlink control information and second-order downlink control information. The terminal device can search for the second-order downlink control information based on the first-order downlink control information. The first-order downlink control information includes location indication information of the second-order downlink control information in the first subframe. The terminal device can switch from the first beam to a second beam based on the found second-order downlink control information to receive a second subframe. The downlink control information includes a switching indication field of the second beam. In this way, flexibility of beam switching is improved, load balancing of a control channel is implemented, and a latency of beam switching is reduced.

    Abstract: This application discloses a resource unit setting method, a resource unit transmission method, and an apparatus. The method includes: setting, by a transmit end device based on a setting threshold of a null resource unit and/or a scheduling parameter, a plurality of null resource units at time domain and/or frequency domain locations associated with phase tracking reference signal resource units of one or more OFDM symbols; and sending, by the transmit end device, the one or more OFDM symbols. The corresponding apparatus is further disclosed. In the technical solution of this application, the null resource unit is set based on the setting threshold of the null resource unit and/or the scheduling parameter. Demodulation accuracy of a high-frequency communications system is ensured, and overheads of the null resource unit are as low as possible, thereby improving spectrum efficiency.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, methods and apparatus for reference signal configuration. The method includes: mapping a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) to one or more OFDM symbols based on information about a correspondence between the PTRS and one or more of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a subcarrier spacing, and a bandwidth (BW); and sending the one or more OFDM symbols to which the PTRS is mapped to a receive device. In the embodiments of the present invention, a correspondence between the PTRS and the subcarrier spacing or the modulation and coding scheme or the bandwidth is used to implicitly indicate a time-frequency location of the PTRS. In comparison with the prior art, no explicit indication is required, and signaling overheads are reduced.
