    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for facilitating wireless communication using digital Quadrature Amplitude Modulation are disclosed. A mapping module electronic component of a wireless communication device utilizes a signal constellation for quadrature modulating a signal for transmission or quadrature demodulating a received signal. The signal constellation includes multiple constellation symbols and associated bit sequences. Specific signal constellations are disclosed. The signal constellations may be obtained through an optimization procedure which accounts for both phase noise and power amplifier nonlinearity.

    Abstract: The application relates to link adaptation for extremely high throughput (EHT) systems. Various approaches are provided to enable transmission of link adaptation parameters for single-user multiple input multiple output (SU-MIMO), and multi-user multiple input multiple output MU-MIMO. In some embodiments, two control IDs in the A-control subfield are used, one for SU-MIMO and one for MU-MIMO. These can both be reserved control IDs, or a combination of a reserved control ID and control ID 2 normally used for HE link adaptation. In some embodiments, a single control ID in the A-control subfield is used. This can be a reserved control ID or control ID 2 normally used for HE link adaptation.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for methods and systems for Sub-codebook based Trellis Coded Quantization for CSI Feedback. An aspect of the disclosure provides method executed by a receiver. The method includes receiving a signal from a transmitter, via a communication channel between the receiver and the transmitter. The method further includes estimating parameters associated with the channel based on the received signal. The method further includes obtaining phase information from the estimated parameters. The method further includes applying a trellis coded quantization (TCQ) scheme to the obtained phase information by mapping each sub-codebook index of a set of sub-codebook indices to output bits of each trellis branch making the distance between sub-codebooks maximally equal. The method further includes transmitting a channel state information (CSI) measurement feedback to the transmitter, the CSI measurement feedback based on the TCQ scheme and comprising one or more of: a beginning state, input bits to the TCQ scheme, and a sub-codebook index.

    Abstract: A procedure and frame structure for Wi-Fi sensing is described. An aspect of the disclosure provides a method of sensing. Such the method includes sending, by an initiating station (STA) to a plurality of responder STAs, a sensing request comprising a sensing announcement frame indicating identifiers (ID) of the plurality of responder STAs. Such a method further includes receiving, by the initiating STA from the plurality of responder STAs, one or more responses based on the sensing request. In some embodiments, the announcement frame further indicates resource unit assignments for receiving acknowledgements from the plurality of responder STAs. In some embodiments, the method further includes receiving, by the initiating STA from the plurality of responder STAs, the acknowledgements indicating a willingness to participate in the sensing procedure.
