Abstract: The present invention discloses a method, routing bridge, and system for sending a packet, which are applied to the field of communications technologies, and are invented to reduce a signaling overhead of a TRILL network. The method includes: receiving, by a first transit RB, a Nickname of an edge RB sent by a second transit RB; constructing, an address advertisement message, where the address advertisement message includes a virtual IP address and a virtual MAC address of the first transit RB; and sending, the address advertisement message to the edge RB according to the Nickname of the edge RB, so that the edge RB sends, after receiving the address advertisement message, a free ARP packet to a server that accesses the TRILL network through the edge RB, where the free ARP packet includes a correspondence between the virtual MAC address and the virtual IP address.

Abstract: System, apparatus, and method embodiments are provided for detecting the presence of a pedestrian in an image. In an embodiment, a method for determining whether a person is present in an image includes receiving a plurality of images, wherein each image comprises a plurality of pixels and determining a modified center symmetric local binary pattern (MS-LBP) for the plurality of pixels for each image, wherein the MS-LBP is calculated on a gradient magnitude map without using an interpolation process, and wherein a value for each pixel is a gradient magnitude.

Abstract: An angle adjustment apparatus is provided, and includes a fastening component and an angle adjustment component rotatably connected to the fastening component. At least a part of the angle adjustment component is located in the fastening component, and the angle adjustment component can rotate in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction relative to the fastening component. In this way, angle adjustment efficiency is improved. In addition, a communication device can be prevented from being oblique after angle adjustment, thereby preventing a signal coverage function of the communication device from being affected.

Abstract: This application discloses a network and a data transmission method and apparatus, and belongs to the field of communication technologies. The network includes a core device and an edge device. The edge device identifies a service type of a first service packet from the core device, and reports a service type identifier of the first packet to the core device. The core device determines a priority corresponding to the service type identifier based on a stored service priority correspondence, and forwards, based on the priority, a service packet belonging to a same service flow as the first service packet. A strong service identification capability of the edge device is used to precisely identify thousands of service types, and a strong entry storage capability of the core device is used to store a correspondence that records thousands of service types and priorities. This effectively avoids problems such as transmission congestion and a packet loss that are caused by an incapability of precisely identifying a service type and allocation of a same priority to service packets of different service types.

Abstract: A tunable laser includes a reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA), a grating codirectional coupler, and a reflective microring resonator. The grating codirectional coupler and the reflective microring resonator are both formed on a silicon base. An anti-reflection film is disposed on a first end surface of the reflective SOA, and the first end surface is an end surface, coupled to a first waveguide of the grating codirectional coupler, of the reflective SOA. A second waveguide of the grating codirectional coupler is coupled to the first waveguide, a first grating is disposed on the first waveguide, a second grating disposed opposite to the first grating is disposed on the second waveguide, and the first grating and the second grating constitute a narrow-band pass filter. The second waveguide is connected to the reflective microring resonator.
