摘要: A wireless sensor network is described. The wireless sensor network comprises an interrogator transceiver operable to transmit a first wireless signal at a first RF frequency and to receive a second wireless signal at a second RF frequency to and from a wireless sensor node embedded within a medium. The medium comprises one or more dielectric materials. The wireless sensor node is interrogatable by the interrogator transceiver. The wireless sensor node is operable to receive the first wireless signal at the first RF frequency from the interrogator transceiver and to transmit the second wireless signal at the second RF frequency to the interrogator transceiver. A processor is coupled to a circuit within the interrogator transceiver. The circuit is operable to measure a power level of a received signal, and the processor is operable to correlate the power level of the received signal to a composition of the medium.

For example, this may enable an SPS receiver to measure CP of at least a first positioning signal of a first frequency band and a second positioning signal of a second frequency band each received from the same satellite vehicle. A corrected CP of the first positioning signal may be estimated based on the measured CP of the first positioning signal and on the measured CP of the second positioning signal.

The method includes the steps of storing affordance preferences in a database for a plurality of portable affordance settings that may be present at a workstation, detecting a subset of affordances present within a first zone associated with the workstation, for each detected affordance in the subset, identifying an affordance setting in the database indicating a user preference, and automatically controlling settings of at least each of the detected affordances in the subset to match the user preferences for the detected affordances.
