摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for determining gateway information. A first device obtains first information of user equipment, where the first information of the user equipment is used to indicate an area in which the user equipment subscribes to a service, and the first device determines gateway information corresponding to a first domain name, where the first domain name includes the first information of the user equipment. The first domain name includes the first information of the user equipment, and the first information is used to indicate the area in which the user equipment subscribes to the service. Compared with a method in which a number segment is used to generate a domain name, this reduces a quantity of domain names that need to be configured and maintained, and reduces maintenance costs of an operator.

摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a registration area determining method, to reduce overheads for sending paging signaling to user equipment. The method in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes: determining, by a mobility management entity, that both duration in which user equipment does not access a basic registration area in a registration area of the user equipment and duration in which the user equipment does not initiate a periodic basic registration area update procedure are greater than or equal to preset duration; generating, by the mobility management entity, a new registration area for the user equipment, where the new registration area does not include the basic registration area; and sending, by the mobility management entity, the new registration area to the user equipment. The embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a mobility management entity, to reduce the overheads for sending paging signaling to the user equipment.

摘要： A method, a system, a network element, and a gateway for processing access point name restriction information are disclosed. The method includes a second mobility management element receives first access point name restriction information from a first mobility management element, and the second mobility management element obtains maximum access point name restriction information according to the first access point name restriction information, so that a packet data network gateway determines to or refuses to establish a new packet data network gateway connection. With the present invention, the second mobility management element may obtain the maximum access point name restriction information according to the received access point name restriction information. In this way, the packet data network gateway can determine to or refuse to establish a new packet data network gateway connection, therefore improving the security of private packet data network gateways.

An IP address on a terminal device side of the first QUIC connection is the first IP address.
