    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications, and provide a communications method and apparatus, which can solve a problem in the prior art that, in order to save power, when a mobility management entity (MME) delays delivering a paging message or a UE uses a long discontinuous reception (DRX) period, an exception may occur in a serving gateway (SGW). The method includes: acquiring, by an MME, information of a UE (S101); determining, by the MME according to the information, whether the UE satisfies a first preset condition (S102); if the UE satisfies the first preset condition, generating, by the MME, a first indication, where the first indication is used for instructing an SGW to retain first data or discard first data, and the first data is downlink data of the UE (S103); and sending, by the MME, the first indication to the SGW.

    Abstract: In the field of communications technologies, a message handling method and a wireless communication network are provided. The wireless communication network includes a serving evolved NodeB (eNB), a neighbor eNB, and a Relay Node (RN). The serving eNB is coupled with the neighbor eNB through an S1 interface or the X2 interface, and the RN is coupled with the serving eNB and served by the serving eNB. The serving eNB is configured to generate a notification and send the notification to the RN, wherein the notification carries information in which a neighbor cell of a neighbor eNB is marked as a serving cell of the serving eNB. The RN is configured to receive the notification and determine that the X2 interface between the serving eNB and the neighbor eNB is available based on the information carried in the notification.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a metadata storage system and a management method for a cluster file system. The metadata of the cluster file system is stored by using a DRAM+SSD+HDD three-tier architecture, and the metadata is written sequentially into a metadata buffer in the DRAM based on write-in time. When a metadata buffer fully written, it is written back into the SSD sequentially to form a new metadata storage unit, and corresponding metadata index information in a header structure thereof is stored into the DRAM in a form of a metadata index unit.
