Abstract: Scroll compressor includes a shaft rotatably supported to a casing; an eccentric bush having a recess part into which one end portion of the shaft is inserted, an eccentric part eccentric to the shaft, and a balance weight disposed at the opposite side of the eccentric part with respect to the recess part; an orbiting scroll for performing the orbiting motion in interlock with the eccentric part; and a fixed scroll for forming a compression chamber together with the orbiting scroll. The casing has an orbiting groove in which the eccentric bush performs the orbiting motion, a buffer member is interposed between the orbiting groove and the balance weight. Rotation clearance is formed between the recess part and the shaft. The buffer member is compressed between the balance weight and the orbiting groove before the recess part and the shaft contact each other by the rotation clearance.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a compressor that includes a casing, a fastening part disposed at a portion corresponding to a support bracket provided in a compressor mounting part of a vehicle on the casing, and a fastener connecting the support bracket to the fastening part, wherein a compressor's center of gravity and a compressor's point of support supported by the fastener are positioned in a longitudinal direction of the fastener. The present disclosure has an effect of relieving rotational moment and fatigue stress occurring in the compressor when the compressor is mounted to the vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed herein may be a compressor. The compressor may include: a casing; a compression unit configured to suck refrigerant from a suction space of the casing, compress the sucked refrigerant, and discharge the compressed refrigerant to a discharge space of the casing; an oil recovery passage configured to recover oil separated from refrigerant in the discharge space to the suction space; and a reducer inserted into the oil recovery passage to reduce a pressure of oil passing through the oil recovery passage. The reducer may include a deformation preventing unit configured to prevent the reducer from being damaged when the reducer is inserted into the oil recovery passage. Therefore, the reducer may be prevented from being damaged when the reducer is inserted into the oil recovery passage. The costs required to prevent the reducer from being damaged, check the conditions of the reducer, and repair reducer may be reduced.

Abstract: A compressor and a method for controlling the compressor detects the state of the suction refrigerant, thereby preventing the damage of the compressor and enabling stable operation. The compressor includes a compression unit equipped with a compression means for compressing a refrigerant, a motor unit coupled to the compression unit and compresses a suction refrigerant sucked through a suction port, an inverter unit with a detection unit for detecting a state of the suction refrigerant sucked through the suction port, and a control unit which controls the compression unit. The control unit controls by comparing a low flow condition which is set on the basis of a state in which the compression unit operates under an operating condition of a low refrigerant amount of the suction refrigerant and an actual flow condition of the suction refrigerant sucked into the motor unit when the compression unit is actually operated.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling a compressor, and may include: pilot driving which drives a compressor of an air conditioner by receiving a start signal; determining whether oil is short which compares the oil amount of the compressor, driven in the pilot driving, with a predetermined reference oil amount; normal driving which maintains the driving of the compressor when it is determined that the oil amount is the reference oil amount or more; and stopping which stops the driving of the compressor when it is determined that the oil amount is smaller than the reference oil amount. Accordingly, by stopping the compressor when the oil is short, it is possible to prevent damage to the compressor.
