摘要: An electrodeposited copper foil with low surface roughness having a surface roughness Rz not higher than 2.5 μm and an elongation percentage not smaller than 6% at 180° C. in which tensile strength at 25° C. measured within 20 min of the point in time of ending electrodeposition is not higher than 500 MPa and the lowering rate of tensile strength at 25° C. measured within 300 min of the point in time of ending electrodeposition is not higher than 10%. The electrodeposited copper foil with low surface roughness is produced by a process employing aqueous solution of sulfuric acid-copper sulfate as electrolyte and conducting a DC current between an insoluble anode of titanium coated with a platinum metal element or its oxide element and a titanium cathode drum facing the anode, wherein the electrolyte contains hydroxyethylcellulose, polyethyleneimine, a sulfonate of active organic sulfur compound, acetylene glycol and chlorine ions.

摘要: A low-cost process technology is proposed for the making and manufacture of bus electrodes or fence electrodes, which are structural parts or objects of a Plasma Display Panel (PDP). The low-cost process proposed makes the above-mentioned bus electrodes or fence electrodes that exhibit outstanding conductivity and sufficient shading characteristics. The proposed PDP has a front panel and a back panel. The back panel is set at a fixed distance from the front panel. The front panel has a number of two or more sustain scan electrodes arranged in parallel on the above-mentioned front panel surface, two or more data electrodes arranged in the direction which crosses the above-mentioned sustain scan electrodes, and two or more partitions that are arranged between the above-mentioned front panel and the above-mentioned back panel, in order to divide the electric discharge cell. The above-mentioned sustain scan electrode has a transparent electrode and a bus electrode arranged on the above-mentioned transparent electrode. The above-mentioned bus electrode is formed sequentially from the side that touches the above-mentioned transparent electrode with a double-layer composition. The double layer composition is composed of a black ground layer and a non-black electric conduction layer. The above-mentioned bus electrode is formed by first exposing light or lights on a positive type photosensitive paste on the above-mentioned black ground layer by using the above-mentioned non-black electric conduction layer as a pattern formation mask, and secondly the above-mentioned black ground layer is applied.

摘要: In the apparatus for liquid preparation, the silver halide emulsion contained in a dedicated pot is transferred as liquid by a mohno pump via a piping into a measuring tank. The silver halide emulsion transferred into the measuring tank is measured with a load cell and is melted by heating with a jacket while being stirred by a stirrer. Accordingly, even when a small amount is used as in the case of the silver halide emulsion used in the heat-developable photosensitive material, the time for heating the silver halide emulsion, within the time range from the liquid preparation of the silver halide emulsion to its utilization, can be made short to the utmost, and hence the time elapse in melt can be suppressed. Thus, the time elapse in melt, reagent loss, and mutual contamination in the liquid preparation of photographic reagents can be effectively prevented. Under the preparation condition that the silver halide grains are prepared by adding a solution of a water soluble silver salt at an addition rate equal to or larger than 4 kg/min as converted to the weight of silver, the circulating flux of the circulating current at an opening for circulation is set to be equal to or larger than 500 L/min. By setting the circulating flux of the circulating current to be equal to or larger than 500 L/min., the two solutions added from reacting solution feeding pipes can be instantly diluted by a colloidal solution. Thus, the grain diameter and distribution width thereof can be made small in the preparation of silver halide grains for the purpose of producing a silver halide emulsion.
