摘要: A four-way switching valve free from leakage of a refrigerant is disclosed. The valve includes two three-way switching valves arranged side by side, each having a pressure-regulating chamber, a piston, and a plug coaxially arranged. One of the pressure-regulating chambers selectively communicates with a low-pressure chamber or a high-pressure chamber via a three-way solenoid valve. The other pressure-regulating chamber communicates with another chamber in which the pressure increases or decreases as the pressure within one of the pressure-regulating chambers decreases or increases. As a result, refrigerant leakage is prevented, in turn preventing degradation of the refrigerating power of a system.

摘要: A displacement control valve which is capable of shortening a time period for transition in operating displacement, and operating without necessitating a large solenoid force even if the size of the valve is increased so as to increase the amount of refrigerant. A differential pressure-sensing section is separated from a valve section, and caused to sense the differential pressure by a small-diameter piston rod such that even a small-sized solenoid section can set a differential pressure. A valve element, which is formed to have a larger diameter than that of the piston rod to increase the amount of refrigerant, is configured to operate as a member formed in one piece with a shaft. The pressure Pc from a pressure-regulating chamber is received at the axial opposite ends of a reduced-diameter portion of the shaft, and the suction pressure Ps from a suction chamber is received at the axial opposite ends of the one-piece member of the valve element and the shaft, thereby canceling out influence of the pressure Pc and the suction pressure Ps such that the valve element can be controlled only by the differential pressure sensed by the piston rod.

摘要: In a capacity control apparatus of a variable capacity compressor 10 a chamber 30 between a valve seat 26 and diaphragm 24 communicates with a pressure control chamber 12 of the compressor 10. Said valve seat 26 communicates outside said chamber 30 with an inhalation chamber 3 of said compressor. A valve element 25 which is pressure balanced in relation to the pressure Pc in pressure control chamber 12 is axially moveable within said chamber 30. The pressure effective areas of said valve seat 26 and of a diaphragm 24 co-acting with said valve element 25 are formed with equal sizes. Due to the relatively small diaphragm size a small sized and cheap solenoid can be used for the actuation of valve element 25. The cross-section area of valve seat 26 is relatively big and prevents a delayed control response behavior of the capacity control apparatus.

摘要: A variable displacement compressor driven by an engine, such as an engine for driving an automotive vehicle is used as a compressor, and the capacity of the compressor is controlled by a capacity control valve such that the differential pressure between discharge pressure and suction pressure of refrigerant becomes equal to a predetermined differential pressure determined by an external signal. Pressure substantially equal to pressure applied across the compressor is applied across the ejector, and therefore to control the differential pressure across the compressor is to control the differential pressure across the ejector. A differential pressure valve disposed between a gas-liquid separator and an evaporator is set to a differential pressure approximately proportional to the differential pressure across the ejector.

摘要: To provide a low-cost expansion device which is capable of changing a passage cross-sectional area of a restriction passage according to the pressure and temperature of introduced refrigerant, without provision of a high-pressure hermetically sealed space. The expansion device comprises a differential pressure valve for having the valve lift thereof controlled according to the differential pressure across the expansion device, and a temperature-sensing section for further controlling the valve lift of the differential pressure valve according to the temperature of refrigerant. The differential pressure valve includes a piston that has a larger outer diameter than that of a valve element and is integrally formed with the valve element. The piston forms a pressure-adjusting chamber into which the inlet pressure of the refrigerant is introduced via a pressure passage, whereby when the inlet pressure of the refrigerant becomes high, the differential pressure valve is caused to operate in a valve opening direction. The temperature-sensing section is formed by filling a bellows that can axially expand and contract, with a wax having a large coefficient of volumetric expansion, whereby the differential pressure valve is caused to operate in a valve closing direction when the inlet temperature of the refrigerant becomes high.
