摘要: An aerosol delivery device includes a housing structured to retain an aerosol precursor composition, and an aerosol production component. The aerosol delivery device includes processing circuitry configured to operate in an active mode to control power to the aerosol production component to produce an aerosol from the aerosol precursor composition. The aerosol delivery device also has a user interface including a pressure-sensitive surface and a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is configured to measure pressure, and generate a corresponding signal, as a function of force applied to the pressure-sensitive surface. The processing circuitry is also configured to receive the corresponding signal and identify an operation based on a level of the corresponding signal and thereby an amount of the force applied to the pressure-sensitive surface. The processing circuitry is also configured to execute the operation in response to the corresponding signal and thereby the force applied to the pressure-sensitive surface.

摘要: A thermal conductivity gauge measures gas pressure within a chamber. A sensor wire and a resistor form a circuit coupled between a power input and ground, where the sensor wire extends into the chamber and connects to the resistor via a terminal. A controller adjusts the power input, as a function of a voltage at the terminal and a voltage at the power input, to bring the sensor wire to a target temperature. Based on the adjusted power input, the controller can determine a measure of the gas pressure within the chamber.

摘要: Wind tunnels may include gimbaled stings that enable aerial vehicles to be evaluated therein with respect to testing requirements established by regulatory bodies in one or more jurisdictions, such as the FAA in the United States. The gimbaled stings may be component parts of bowl assemblies that may rotate the aerial vehicles to predetermined yaw angles, pitch angles or roll angles, in order to conduct testing evolutions demonstrating that the aerial vehicles satisfy one or more of regulatory requirements. The gimbaled stings may position and reposition the aerial vehicles, as necessary, in accordance with the one or more regulatory requirements. The aerial vehicles may also operate control surfaces (e.g., flaps or rudders) during the testing evolutions, and different loading conditions or centers of gravity may be simulated by translating the aerial vehicles on the gimbaled stings in one or more directions.
