摘要: A vehicle steering control apparatus includes a steering wheel to be operated by a driver, a steering mechanism for turning the front wheels in accordance with an operating torque of the steering wheel, and a clutch for mechanically connecting the steering wheel to the steering mechanism. A clutch engagement command issuing section is provided for issuing an engagement command to the clutch when the clutch is disengaged and a condition for engaging the clutch is satisfied. A clutch engagement determining section is provided for determining that the clutch is in an engaged state when an increase in torque is detected at the steering wheel after the engagement command has been issued to the clutch.

摘要: A vehicle steering device and control method for use in steer-by-wire steering systems. A steering instrument is operable to receive input from a driver and a turning device is operable to turn at least one wheel. A selectively engageable backup clutch is positioned between the steering instrument and the turning device. Engagement of the backup clutch results in a mechanical connection between the steering instrument and the turning device for assisting control of the at least one wheel, and release of the backup clutch results in a separation of the steering instrument and the turning device for steer-by-wire control of the at least one wheel. A controller is operable to switch from the steer-by-wire control to the assisting control when the backup clutch engages during operation of the steer-by-wire control.

摘要: A prestroke control device for a fuel injection pump includes at least one control sleeve slidably fitted on at least one plunger, a control rod engaging the control sleeve, the control rod extending perpendicularly to the plunger and rotatable about an axis thereof for varying an axial position of the control sleeve relative to the plunger to thereby control the prestroke of the plunger, and an actuator for rotatively driving the control rod about its own axis. A counterweight is movable in unison with rotation of the control rod for cancelling a rotating force generated by axial movement of the control sleeve and acting upon the control rod.

摘要: A vehicle steering apparatus includes a steering reaction actuator that produces a steering reaction force to be applied to the manual steering unit, a steering reaction force controller that outputs a steering reaction force command value to the steering reaction force actuator, and a road surface input torque detector that detects a road surface input torque inputted to steerable road wheels from a road surface, wherein the steering reaction force controller includes a low cut-off frequency filter that extracts a low frequency component equal to or lower than a predetermined frequency from an output of the road surface input torque detector and sets the steering reaction force command value on the basis of a vehicle driving condition and an output of the low cut-off frequency filter. A vehicle steering method is also provided.

摘要: ABSTRACT A solenoid valve is provided in a fuel injection pump fuel supply path. A communication path communicates with each other an armature chamber, which accommodates an armature, and a spill chamber, which accommodates a head of a valve body and is connected to a lower pressure side. When high pressure fuel is spilt to the low pressure side, an orifice in the communication path reduces a high frequency pressure wave propagated from the spill chamber to the armature chamber, thus reducing deformation or corrosion of the solenoid in over a long period of use.
