    Abstract: A fan assembly includes a fan and a fan guard positioned on the fan to protect the fan from contamination and damage during operation. The fan includes a plurality of upper corners extending outwardly therefrom. The fan guard includes a frame and a cover covering and fastened to the frame. The frame includes a plurality of protrusions extending downwardly therefrom and a plurality of fastening feet extending upwardly therefrom. The protrusions engage the upper corners of the fan, securing the frame to the fan. The cover comprises a spring component surrounding a bottom thereof, resiliently engaging the fastening feet of the frame. A plurality of pores are defined in the cover, allowing airflow produced by the fan therethrough, wherein the fan guard protects the fan from contamination and damage during operation.

    Abstract: A cooling fan (100) includes a frame (10), a circuit board (20) and a rotor (30). The frame includes a housing (12) and a plate (14) connecting with the housing. The circuit board is mounted on the plate. The rotor is received in the housing and includes a hollow hub (32) and a plurality of blades (38) extending from the hub. A plurality of light emitting diodes (40) is mounted on the circuit board. When the rotor rotates, each LED projects light towards the rotor and to the frame so that the light will be reflected and deflected by the fan whereby the whole fan glows and produces a fantastic visual effect.

    Abstract: A heat dissipation device includes a heat conducting member (10) adapted for contacting with a heat generating electronic device and a fin unit (30). The fin unit defines a central hole (300) therein and consists of a plurality of fins (31) around the central hole and clasping each other.     Abstract: A back plate assembly is compatible with mainboards having different specification. The back plate assembly includes a back plate and a plurality of fasteners engaging with the back plate. The back plate defines a plurality of sets of mounting holes. Each set of mounting holes is used to align with through holes in mainboard with a corresponding specification. The mounting holes are spaced from each other and each includes a first receiving hole and a second receiving hole located at a lower portion of the first receiving hole. The fasteners are interferentially fitted in a corresponding set of the mounting holes of the back plate. Each fastener includes a baffling portion received in the first receiving hole of the mounting hole, and a connecting portion extending downwardly from the baffling portion of the fastener and received in the second receiving hole of the mounting hole.

    Abstract: A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink assembly, a fan holder and a fan mounted in the fan holder. The heat sink assembly includes a heat spreader for contacting with a heat-generating electronic component, and two fin assemblies thermally connecting with the heat spreader and sandwiching the fan therebetween. Each fin assembly defines cutouts at opposite ends thereof. The fan holder includes a top plate and a pair of vertical, downward-extending baffle walls. A pair of clamping arms extends from each baffle wall and inserted into the cutouts of the fin assemblies. Screws extend through the top plate to engage in holes defined in the fin assemblies and communicating with the cutouts. A vaulted operating plate is formed by the top plate for a user to grip to conveniently transport the heat dissipation device.

    Abstract: A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink assembly, a fan holder and two fans mounted on the two sides of the fan holder. The heat sink assembly includes a heat spreader for contacting with a heat-generating electronic component, and a fin assembly thermally connecting with the heat spreader. The fin assembly has a plurality of channels therein. The fan holder includes a top plate mounted on a top of the fin assembly and a pair of vertical baffle walls extending from two opposite ends of the top plate. The baffle walls of the fan holder are located at two lateral ends of the fin assembly and sandwich the fin assembly therebetween. The two fans respectively abut against inlets and outlets of the channels of the fin assembly. An airflow generated by one fan flows through the fin assembly and is sucked by the other fan.

    Abstract: A heat sink includes a base plate and a plurality of thin-sheet fins. The base plate has a plurality of recesses and protruding ribs formed between every two recesses.
