A subscription transfer method, apparatus, and system are provided. The method includes receiving a subscription transfer request message sent by a first user equipment (UE) or a second UE, where the first UE is a target UE to which an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) subscription is transferred, and the second UE is a source UE from which the eUICC subscription is transferred; and transferring the eUICC subscription from the second UE to the first UE according to the subscription transfer request message, so that the first UE accesses an operator network according to transferred eUICC subscription data. The technical solution of the present invention can implement transfer of an eUICC subscription between UEs that use an eUICC, making it more flexible and convenient for a user to change a UE.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for data confidentiality protection based on an embedded universal integrated circuit card. An embodiment method includes determining that a terminal device is not held by an authorized user; setting an eUICC in the terminal device to an unavailable state; and instructing the eUICC to perform confidentiality protection processing on data in the eUICC.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for obtaining a destination IP address and are related to the field of communications technologies, for improving a data sending success rate in a network. The method includes: receiving a request sent by a terminal device, obtaining a destination IP address from a network-side device according to the request, and sending the destination IP address to the terminal device. The method and the apparatus for obtaining a destination IP address provided by the embodiments of the present invention are applied in an M2M technology.

A method and an apparatus for learning an online state of a terminal are provided. In the embodiments of the present invention, when an online state of a terminal needs to be reported to a network side, the terminal sends a first message to a core network management entity, where the first message includes first indication information, so that the core network management entity sends the first indication information to a proxy server, and thereby the proxy server learns an online state of an application on the terminal, so as to avoid that an online state, of the application on the terminal, saved in the proxy server is incorrect.

In the embodiments of the present invention, an authorized period and/or a forbidden period of a time-controlled subscription is generated according to information such as network service load historical data of a network and application information of the time-controlled subscription. Network access of the machine terminal is controlled according to the authorized period and/or the forbidden period. Because the network access time of the machine terminal can be controlled flexibly, the communication of the machine terminal can be controlled flexibly, and impacts of machine terminal communication on ordinary terminal communication can be reduced.

The present invention discloses a trigger message sending method, device and system, which relate to the field of communications technologies and can resolve a problem that a Machine Type Communications-Inter Working Function MTC-IWF device and a short message service-service center SMS-SC repeatedly send a trigger Trigger message to a user equipment UE. The method includes: receiving, by the MTC-IWF device, a delivery report sent by the SMS-SC, where the delivery report is sent to the MTC-IWF device by the SMS-SC after the SMS-SC fails to send the trigger message to the UE; and waiting, by the MTC-IWF device according to the delivery report, for the SMS-SC to resend the trigger message, or resending, by the MTC-IWF device, the trigger message according to the delivery report. The present invention is mainly used in a process of sending a trigger message.

In a method, after a terminal is handed over from a home network to a redundant network, the terminal receives a value of a periodic network detection timer that is sent by a handover module. The value of the periodic network detection timer is determined by a subscription management device according to a policy and sent to the handover module, or the value of the periodic network detection timer is preset by the handover module. The terminal periodically detects signal strength of the home network of the terminal according to the value of the periodic network detection timer. If it is detected that the signal strength of the home network of the terminal is restored, a home network restoration report is sent to the handover module.

The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, that a service function entity SFE serving the terminal device needs to be changed to a first SFE; acquiring information about a location of a resource/subresource corresponding to the terminal device in a second SFE, where the second SFE saves the resource/subresource corresponding to the terminal device; and sending, to the first SFE, a first identifier and the information about the location in the second SFE, where the first identifier is used to indicate that the terminal device needs to change the SFE serving the terminal device, so that the first SFE transfers, after receiving the first identifier, the resource/subresource corresponding to the terminal device from the second SFE to the first SFE.
