Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for sharing media content. A first client extracts source address information of a first page and property information of media content displayed on the first page. The first client publishes on a second page, the source address information of the first page and the property information of the media content, so that a second client can determine, on the second page based on the property information of the media content, the media content on the first page corresponding to the source address information of the first page, and display the media content.
