    Abstract: This application discloses a communications method and apparatus, the method including sending a synchronization/broadcast signal block of a serving cell or a camping cell, sending at least one piece of cell measurement configuration information to a terminal device, where the at least one piece of cell measurement configuration information comprises N pieces of information indicating actual sending of a synchronization/broadcast signal block, and the N pieces of information indicating actual sending of a synchronization/broadcast signal block are used to indicate information about actually sent synchronization/broadcast signal blocks of M cells, where 1≤N≤M, where M is a quantity of measurement cells of the terminal device, and where both N and M are positive integers, and sending synchronization/broadcast signal blocks of the M measurement cells.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to signal transmission methods and apparatus. One example method includes detecting signals in a plurality of synchronization signal blocks, where each of the plurality of synchronization signal blocks includes a first synchronization signal, a second synchronization signal, and a broadcast signal, and where at least one type of signal in each synchronization signal block and another type of signal in the same synchronization signal block are sent on non-adjacent symbols, and obtaining the signals in the plurality of synchronization signal blocks.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for transmitting a measurement signal. A method for sending a measurement signal includes: sending, by a network device, downlink measurement signals to a terminal device by using one or more transmit beams; receiving, by the network device, a detection result, fed back by the terminal device, of signal strength of the downlink measurement signals of the one or more transmit beams; and when detecting that the detection result, fed back by the terminal device, of the downlink measurement signals is lower than a specified threshold, instructing, by the network device, the terminal device to use an uplink measurement signal-based measurement manner. According to the method, switching between measurement manners is performed based on a detection result, thereby reducing signaling overheads.

    Abstract: A first terminal apparatus sends K2 first reference signals to a second terminal apparatus in K1 directions. The first terminal apparatus determines that beams in the K1 directions all fail for N1 consecutive times. The first terminal apparatus sends P2 second reference signals to the second terminal apparatus in P1 directions. The first terminal apparatus determines, based on measurement results that are of the P2 second reference signals and that are from the second terminal apparatus, whether P1 beams corresponding to the P1 directions are available.

    Abstract: A synchronization signal block sending and receiving method and apparatus are described. The method includes a first terminal determining, based on a correspondence between information about locations of M antenna panels and P synchronization signal blocks of the first terminal and information about locations of N antenna panels, a synchronization signal block corresponding to each of the N antenna panels, where the information about the locations of the M antenna panels is used to indicate the locations of the M antenna panels on the first terminal, the N antenna panels are included in the M antenna panels, N is less than or equal to M, M, N and P are positive integers, and P is an integer multiple of M. Then, the first terminal separately sends, by using each of the N antenna panels, the synchronization signal block corresponding to each of the N antenna panels. This application is applicable to a V2V scenario.
