    Abstract: A ranging method includes obtaining a first echo signal that is obtained after laser light emitted by a laser to a measured object is reflected by the measured object, determining that the first echo signal is a saturated echo signal, calculating an initial distance using a receiving moment of the first echo signal, determining a target distance compensation value corresponding to a saturation degree of the first echo signal, compensating, using the target distance compensation value and in a distance compensation manner, the initial distance, and setting a distance obtained after compensation as a measured distance between the measured object and the laser.

    Abstract: A method includes receiving X pilot symbols, determining light source sequence numbers of the X light sources based on the X pilot symbols, receiving M×X undersampled pulse width modulation-based pulse position modulation (UPPM) symbols and parsing the M×X UPPM symbols thereby obtaining original data from a sending node by using N light sources. Each of the X pilot symbols includes W waveform segments. Each of the W waveform segments includes a first light source sequence number indication part that indicates a light source sequence number. Waveforms of waveform segments with odd sequence numbers in the W waveform segments are the same, waveforms of waveform segments with even sequence numbers in the W waveform segments are the same, and a duration of each of the W waveform segments is equal. The X pilot symbols are in a one-to-one correspondence with X light sources.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide an information transmission method, a coordinator, and a terminal node in an optical wireless communications network. The method includes: receiving a request to send (RTS) frame sent by a sending node by using a first bandwidth, wherein the RTS frame comprises first indication information; determining a second bandwidth based on the first indication information, wherein the second bandwidth is a sending bandwidth used when the sending node sends to-be-sent information and a receiving bandwidth used when the receiving node receives the to-be-sent information; and sending a clear to send (CTS) frame to the sending node by using a third bandwidth.
