Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of vehicle to vehicle communications technologies, and provide a resource energy determining method and apparatus. An example method includes: obtaining, by first user equipment (UE), time-frequency resource indication information and resource cycle reservation information of second UE in a sensing time window of the first UE; determining, by the first UE, energy of a first resource based on the time-frequency resource indication information of the second UE; and determining, by the first UE, where a time-frequency domain location of the first resource in a transmission period in which the first resource is located is the same as a time-frequency domain location of each of the at least one second resource in a transmission period in which the second resource is located.

A power control method and a terminal device are disclosed. The method includes: sending, by a first terminal device, first data and first sidelink control information corresponding to the first data to at least one second terminal device; receiving, by the first terminal device, at least one piece of power adjustment information from the at least one second terminal device, where the at least one piece of power adjustment information is determined by the at least one second terminal device based on at least one of the first data and the first sidelink control information; determining, by the first terminal device, a transmit power for second data based on the at least one piece of power adjustment information; and sending, by the first terminal device, the second data to the at least one second terminal device at the transmit power.

A communication method and a communications apparatus are disclosed. In the communication method, a first terminal obtains a resource period parameter, where the resource period parameter is sent by a network-side device or preconfigured by the first terminal. The resource period parameter includes a period duration of each of at least one resource. The first terminal determines a start time unit of a resource period, and the first terminal sends communication data according to the start time unit of the resource period and the resource period parameter.

The present disclosure provides a data packet transmission method and a device. The method includes: performing, by a transmit end device, channel coding on a to-be-sent data packet, and dividing the coded data packet into at least two data sub-packets; allocating a transmission resource to each data sub-packet; generating control information for each data sub-packet according to transmission resources of the at least two data sub-packets; and sending each data sub-packet and the control information of the data sub-packet on a corresponding transmission resource. A data packet and control information indicating a transmission resource of a data sub-packet are transmitted simultaneously, so that a receive end device can recognize multiple transmissions of a same data packet, and perform joint processing on multiple data sub-packets corresponding to the same data packet to obtain the sent data packet, and data packet transmission reliability is improved.

This application provides a communication method and a terminal device. The communication method may include determining, by user equipment (UE), a candidate resource set on a first carrier, where the first carrier is a carrier on which a resource is currently to be selected, and the first carrier is used to transmit first data. The method may also include selecting, by the UE, a resource on the first carrier from the candidate resource set based on a preset condition, where the preset condition is determined based on resources selected by the UE on other carriers and one or more of the following: a quantity of transmit chains of the UE, a transmit power of the UE, a quantity of resource blocks occupied by the UE, a frequency domain spacing between a plurality of carriers or a plurality of frequency domain resources occupied by the UE, a carrier switching time of the UE, and a half-duplex limitation to the UE, the other carriers indicate all carriers on which the UE has currently selected a resource, and the other carriers are used to transmit second data. The method may also include sending, by the UE, the first data on the resource selected on the first carrier.

The present disclosure provides a data sending method. A first terminal device, determines at least two carriers to transmit at least two pieces of data corresponding to a same transport block, and in a one-to-one correspondence with the at least two pieces of data. The at least two pieces of data can be sent by the first terminal to a second terminal device or a network device by using the at least two carriers. When the first terminal device sends data, the first terminal device may send the at least two pieces of data to the second terminal device or the network device on the at least two carriers to improve reliability of data transmission. The at least two pieces of data may be sent simultaneously, to avoid an increased latency by transmissions of the at least two pieces of data in different time units.

The present disclosure relates to communication methods and communications apparatus. In one example communication method, a first terminal determines a start time unit of a resource period, and transmits communication data in the resource period, where communication data is transmitted in the start time unit and the communication data is retransmitted in another time unit of the resource period. Then the first terminal sends transmission sequence number indication information and time domain transmission resource indication information to a second terminal that performs direct communication with the first terminal.
