Abstract: This application discloses a frequency compensation method and apparatus, to improve performance of frequency compensation. Abstract: Example methods and apparatus for determining a timing advance are described. One example method includes obtaining ephemeris information of a satellite, where the ephemeris information includes coordinates of the satellite and an ephemeris error of the satellite. A timing advance is determined according to a preset rule based on the ephemeris information and location information of a terminal device, where the location information includes coordinates of the terminal device and a positioning error of the terminal device. The preset rule is determined by using a first horizontal distance, a first vertical distance, the ephemeris error, and the positioning error.

Abstract: A decoding method includes: decoding first to-be-decoded information based on a first decoder to obtain a first decoding result that includes first soft information or a first hard output; and correcting the first decoding result based on a first correction model to obtain a corrected first decoding result of the first to-be-decoded information. The first correction model is obtained through training based on training data that includes a training decoding result and a corrected training decoding result. The training decoding result is a decoding result obtained after the first decoder decodes training to-be-decoded information, and the corrected training decoding result is a corrected decoding result corresponding to the training decoding result. In this way, after a decoder performs decoding, a decoding result can be corrected based on a correction model.

Abstract: This application provides a polar coding method, a polar decoding method, and an apparatus. A transmit end obtains K to-be-coded bits and an index set including K polar channels, where a value set of K1 indexes in the set of the K indexes or a value set of K2 indexes in the set of the K indexes is determined based on a value set of K2 of the K to-be-coded bits, and the value set of the K1 indexes and the value set of the K2 indexes are complementary sets of each other; and performs polar coding on K1 to-be-coded bits. In comparison with a conventional polar coding method and a conventional polar decoding method, the polar coding method and the polar decoding method provided in this application can achieve an effect of reducing a bit rate. A simulation result indicates that the method has better performance.

Abstract: A method and device are provided for encoding a master information block (MIB), where the MIB includes indication information, the indication information is used by a terminal device to determine a decoding mode for decoding first information, and the first information includes at least one of a system information block (SIB) 1 and system information (SI); and sending an encoded MIB to the terminal device. The terminal device can determine a correct decoding mode for the SIB and the SI according to the indication information before receiving the SIB and the SI, and then the terminal device can decode the SIB and the SI in the correct decoding mode after receiving the SIB and the SI. The terminal device can flexibly decode the SIB and the SI.
