    Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a communication method and apparatus. The method includes receiving first resource configuration information from a target donor node, determining third resource configuration information based on the first resource configuration information and sending the third resource configuration information to a first node. The first resource configuration information includes current resource configuration information of a target cell, the target cell is a cell served by a target parent node, and the target parent node is used by the first node to connect to the target donor node.     Abstract: This application discloses communications methods, apparatuses, and systems. In one implementation, a method includes: performing a function of a control-plane protocol layer, wherein the control-plane protocol layer comprises a first protocol layer of the network node corresponding to a first protocol layer of a relay node, the first protocol layer is on an interface between the network node and the relay node, and the network node is a donor base station or a centralized unit of a donor base station; and sending, from the first protocol layer of the network node, a first message to the first protocol layer of the relay node, wherein the first protocol layer of the network node and the first protocol layer of the relay node are F1 application protocol layers, and the first message is a F1AP message that comprises one or more of context management information of a terminal device served by the relay node or a radio resource control message of the terminal device.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication processing method and apparatus.     Abstract: A data packet transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: An IAB donor determines first configuration information, where the first configuration information is used to indicate a first backhaul link BH RLC channel, and the first BH RLC channel is used to transmit a control protocol data unit PDU at a backhaul adaptation protocol BAP layer. The IAB donor sends the first configuration information to an IAB node. According to the foregoing procedure, the IAB donor indicates, by using the first configuration information, the IAB node to send the control PDU at the BAP layer through the first BH RLC channel, to implement bearer mapping when the IAB node needs to send the control PDU at the BAP layer.

    Abstract: This application provides an IAB network includes a first BAP topology and a second BAP topology, the first BAP topology is managed by a first donor node, the second BAP topology is managed by a second donor node. In the IAB network, a first IAB node receives a first data packet, where the first IAB node is managed by the first donor node, at least one parent node of the first LAB node is managed by the second donor node, and the first IAB node belongs to the first BAP topology. The first IAB node processes the first data packet based on a BAP topology corresponding to an ingress link for receiving the first data packet.
