    Abstract: A link failure report transmission method and apparatus are provided. When a link between a terminal and a first radio access network device fails, and a master radio access network device of the first radio access network device is handed over, the terminal sends a first link failure report to a second radio access network device, so that the second radio access network device forwards the first link failure report to a third radio access network device, and the third radio access network device sends the first link failure report to the first radio access network device. In this way, the first radio access network device can perform parameter adjustment based on the first link failure report.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose an uplink data transmission method and apparatus. Specifically, user equipment reports an uplink mode supported by the user equipment to a network device by using a capability message, where the uplink mode is an uplink mode for a first carrier and a second carrier of the user equipment. The network device determines, based on the capability message, the uplink mode supported by the user equipment, generates a configuration message, and sends the configuration message to the user equipment. The configuration message includes an uplink mode configured by the network device. After receiving the configuration message, the user equipment transmits uplink data in the uplink mode in the configuration message.
