Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. An example apparatus includes memory, instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to at least compare time-synchronization data between a first signal and a second signal, the first and second signals received in response to a detected contact between a first participant and a second participant in an event, wherein the first signal is received from a first sensor operably coupled to the first participant, the first sensor to measure at least one first physical parameter of the first participant while the first participant is engaged in the event, and wherein the second signal is received from a second sensor operably coupled to the second participant, the second sensor to measure at least one second physical parameter of the second participant while the second participant is engaged in the event, and determine, based on (a) the time-synchronization data, (b) the at least one first physical parameter, and (c) the at least one second physical parameter, whether the detected contact between the first participant and the second participant exceeds one or more thresholds corresponding to a rules-based infraction associated with the event.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system for sensor-based objective determination. In general, sensor data may be used to render objective determinations that were not previously possible due to the unavoidable subjectivity of human-based officiating systems. For example, at least one device may be configured to make objective determinations during the course of a sporting event. Data collection circuitry may receive data from sensor devices coupled to players, equipment, playing surfaces, etc. Data analysis circuitry may categorize the data and input the data into a model to determine if an infraction occurred. For example, categorization may involve determining a type of infraction that may have occurred based on the sensor data. The model may then be selected based on the type of infraction, the model being developed utilizing prior sensor data, rules for the sporting event, etc. Output circuitry may generate a notification based on the infraction determination.

Abstract: The inventory capture system, method and apparatus (i.e., the inventory capture system) may provide for creating and updating an inventory of clothing for a user. The inventory capture system may use voice and image recognition to capture an inventory of clothing and provide users the ability to enhance the captured details about an inventory of clothing with annotations. Moreover, the inventory capture system may provide a way to facilitate retailers and users to leverage the user's existing inventory of clothing and augment the user's inventory of clothing with shared, purchased and/or rented clothing.
