摘要: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can obtain data associated with a computer-based experience. The computer-based experience can be based on interactive real-time technology. At least one virtual camera can be configured within the computer-based experience in a real-time engine. Data associated with an edit cut of the computer-based experience can be obtained based on content captured by the at least one virtual camera. A plurality of shots that correspond to two-dimensional content can be generated from the edit cut of the computer-based experience in the real-time engine. Data associated with a two-dimensional version of the computer-based experience can be generated with the real-time engine based on the plurality of shots. The two-dimensional version can be rendered based on the generated data.

摘要: In various embodiments, a computer animation application automatically solves inverse kinematic problems when generating object animations. The computer animation application determines a target vector based on a target value for a joint parameter associated with a joint chain and at least one of a target position or a target orientation for an end-effector associated with the joint chain. The computer animation application executes a trained machine learning model on the target vector to generate a predicted vector that includes data associated with multiple joint parameters associated with the joint chain.

摘要: A method is provided of producing an optical filter. The method comprises depositing a first mirror layer onto a substrate; depositing an insulating layer on the first mirror; exposing at least some of a plurality of portions of a surface of the insulating layer to a dose of energy; developing the insulating layer in order to remove a volume from the at least some of the plurality of portions of the insulating layer, wherein the volume of the insulating layer removed from each portion is related to the dose of energy exposed to each portion, and wherein a remaining thickness after the removal of the volume from each portion of the insulating layer is related to the dose of energy exposed to each portion. The method further comprising depositing a second mirror layer on the remaining thickness of each of the plurality of portions of the insulating layer.

摘要: Computer generated (CG) hair for a virtual character can include strand-based (instanced) hair in which many thousands of digital strands represent real human hair strands. Strand-based hair can appear highly realistic, but rendering strand-based hair in real-time presents challenges. Techniques for generating textured polygon strip (poly strip) hair for a virtual character can use as an input previously-generated strand-based hair for the virtual character. Poly strips can be generated for a sampled set of strands in the strand-based hair. Additional poly strips may be generated near hairlines or part lines. Hair textures from a hair texture library can be matched to the poly strips. The matched textures can be scaled and packed into a region of texture space (e.g., a square region), which provides improved computer access, efficiency, and speed. A rendering engine can use the poly strips and the packed hair textures to render the character's hair in real-time.

摘要: A digital template animation kit is provided for generating a three-dimensional animation corresponding to a captured two-dimensional template. In embodiments, a template animation kit includes a template portfolio having template designs for coloring in by a user. A computing device executing a template animation kit application, such as a digital fashion portfolio kit application, may then capture an image of the user-completed drawings on each template design. In some embodiments, capturing an image of a template design includes identifying a coloring figure identifier, an upper page guide identifier, and a lower page guide identifier. In further embodiments, the captured images of two-dimensional template designs are applied to three dimensional digital templates for animation within a digital template animation environment.

The system also includes a plurality of waveguides to receive the plurality of light beams and to direct the plurality of light beams toward an exit pupil, wherein the plurality of waveguides are stacked along an optical axis of the user. The system further includes at least one optical element to modify a focus of a light beam of the plurality of light beams directed by the plurality of waveguides.
