Abstract: Systems and methods provide solutions for testing an 8Rx capable UE using test cases for 4Rx capable UEs. An example method establishes a connection from a first Tx source and a second Tx source to each of 8Rx antenna ports. The connection duplicates a fading channel from both the first Tx source and the second Tx source to each of the eight Rx antenna ports, and adds independent noise for each of the 8Rx antenna ports. One test scenario uses 4Rx supported RF bands by connecting four of the Rx ports with data from a system simulator, and the other four Rx ports are connected with zero input. Same requirements specified with 4Rx capable UEs are applied. Another test scenario uses 8Rx supported RF bands and applies lower dB SNR requirements than those specified for 4Rx tests.

Abstract: A computer-readable storage medium stores instructions to configure a UE for sidelink operation in a 5G NR network, and to cause the UE to perform operations including decoding a first sidelink transmission received from a second UE. The first sidelink transmission includes a first resource reservation for a subsequent sidelink transmission by the second UE. A second sidelink transmission received from a third UE is decoded. The second sidelink transmission includes a second resource reservation for a subsequent sidelink transmission by the third UE. A co-channel collision is detected based on the first resource reservation and the second resource reservation being in a same sidelink slot. A feedback message is encoded for transmission to the second UE and the third UE. The feedback message indicates the co-channel collision.

Abstract: Implementations of this disclosure generally may relate to the field of wireless communications. More specifically, implementations described in this disclosure relate to different 3GPP LTE and LTE-A system enhancements to address the issue and support reliable V2X operation in the high mobility environments. Several solutions to improve the V2X system performance in the high mobility vehicular channel propagation conditions are described. Some aspects relate to the suggestion of a new DMRS patterns within individual subframes that promote more accurate CFO estimation. Moreover, another aspect provides DMRS mapping or puncturing patterns to transmit individual DMRS in a periodic pattern on respective OFDM/SC-FDMA symbols so that they do not occupy all REs of the OFDM/SC-FDMA symbols, respectively.

Abstract: An apparatus of user equipment (UE) comprises processing circuitry and memory. The processing circuitry decodes radio resource control (RRC) signaling received from an enhanced node B (eNB), wherein the RRC signaling includes an information element (IE) including information of a multi-cast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) subframe pattern of neighboring cells of a serving cell of the eNB. The processing circuitry initiates detection of CRS information of neighboring cells by the UE, the CRS information including one or both of physical cell identifiers (Cell IDs) and a number of CRS antenna ports (APs) of the neighboring cells; and initiates neighboring cell CRS interference mitigation (CRS-IM) using the detected CRS information and the received information of the MBSFN subframe pattern. The memory stores the information of the MBSFN subframe pattern.

Abstract: A vehicle may wirelessly communicate with another vehicle via a physical channel (a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) channel) that is robust and reliable under high mobility propagation conditions. The physical channel may be created by modifying an existing long-term evolution (LTE) physical channel, such as an LTE sidelink (SL) channel. For instance, the V2V physical channel may be created by increasing, by a particular factor, the subcarrier spacing of legacy LTE channels (e.g., from 15 kilohertz (kHz) to 30 kHz). Additionally, a symbol duration and a fast Fourier transform (FFT) size for the V2V physical channel may each be reduced by the same factor. Doing so may enable the V2V physical channel to be implemented without significant modifications to other aspects of the LTE standard.

A UE receives, from an assisting UE, inter-UE coordination feedback that contains a preferred resource set and a non-preferred resource set based on a reference configuration and uses preferred resources for the V2X sidelink communications. Abstract: Embodiments of a user equipment (UE) configured for NR V2X sidelink selection and reselection are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a selected set of candidate resources are scheduled using a single sidelink control information (SCI) within a scheduling window. In some embodiments, sidelink resources are excluded based on a HARQ round trip time. In some embodiments, sidelink control signalling supports the reservation and indication of multiple sidelink resources.
