    Abstract: Methods for resource efficient data transmission are described herein. A method may comprise operating in one of an idle or an inactive mode and transmitting, in response to a random access (RA) message or a configured grant (CG), a small data transmission over an uplink channel. The RA message may be received in a two-step RA procedure or a four-step RA procedure. The method may further comprise transitioning from the idle or the inactive mode to a connected mode. The method may further comprise determining resources for transmitting the small data transmission. The method may comprise determining whether the small data transmission was successfully received and retransmitting, on a condition the small data transmission was not received, the small data transmission. The method may further comprise segmenting a small data packet into a plurality of small data packets and transmitting the small data packets in a plurality of transmission opportunities.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine a first set of beams and a second set of beams, that a respective quality of each beam in the first set of beams is less than a predetermined quality value, and that a beam that is in the second set of beams and not in the first set of beams has a quality that is equal to or greater than the predetermined quality value. The WTRU may select the beam that is in the second set of beams and not in the first set of beams and whose quality is equal to or greater than the predetermined quality value, for a BFR and send a message that indicates the selected beam for the BFR to a base station (e.g., a gNodeB). The WTRU may receive a message comprising the selected beam from the gNodeB.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, and instrumentalities are described herein relate to partial or delta updated flight path reporting. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit a first message indicating flight path information is available. The WTRU may receive a second message including a flight path reporting configuration. The flight path reporting configuration may request the flight path information. The WTRU may transmit an initial flight path message within a third message. Based on information associated with changing from a previous flight path to an updated flight path, the WTRU may detect that a previous flight path is required to be updated with an updated flight path. The WTRU may transmit an indication that the updated flight path is available. The WTRU may receive a request for and subsequently transmit partial or delta updated flight path information.

    Abstract: A WTRU is configured to receive information to transmit uplink data indicating a first number of nominal repetitions and a first number of symbols for transmission in each of the first number of nominal repetitions. The WTRU is configured to determine a set of symbols associated with a first nominal repetition of the first number of nominal repetitions and is configured to transmit, based on the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition, a second number of actual repetitions in symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions and the symbols used to transmit the second number of actual repetitions are based on an occurrence of an event during the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions is determined based on whether the event is a COT and the COT is initiated by the WTRU.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing a channel access procedure and transmitting a set of repetitions is disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to receive information to transmit uplink data. The information may indicate a first number of nominal repetitions and a first number of symbols for each of the first number of nominal repetitions. The WTRU may be configured to determine a set of symbols associated with a first nominal repetition and to transmit a second number of actual repetitions in symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions and the symbols used to transmit the second number of actual repetitions may be based on an occurrence of an event during the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition may comprise one or more subsets of consecutive uplink symbols.
