    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for downlink resource allocation associated with a shared frequency band. A WTRU may receive resource allocation information associated with a component carrier and at least one carrier segment. The component carrier and the least one carrier segment may each comprise a plurality of resource block groups (RBG). At least two bitmaps may be associated with the resource allocation information. A size of a resource block group (RBG) of the component carrier and the at least one carrier segment may be based on a combined number of resource blocks (RB) of the component carrier and the one or more carrier segments divided by a 3GPP Rel-8/Rel-10 RBG size of the component carrier. The WTRU may determine at least one RBG allocated to the WTRU using the resource allocation information and may receive and decode the at least one RBG allocated to the WTRU.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein that may be associated with new radio (NR) vehicular communication (V2X) sidelink power saving for unicast and groupcast. A first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a message. The message may indicate a set of configuration groups and/or one or more suitability selection parameters. The WTRU may receive, from a second WTRU, a first indication. The first indication may indicate that the second WTRU is associated with a first configuration group and a first priority group. The first WTRU may receive, from a third WTRU, a second indication. The second indication may indicate that the third WTRU is associated with a second configuration group and a second priority value. The first WTRU may select a configuration group from the set of configuration groups based on the first indication and the second indication.

    Abstract: Power efficient measurements may be implemented for high frequency operations. A WTRU may determine measurement occasions, DRX cycle/configuration transitions, DRX pause/resume, DRX timer operation, and/or BFR based on scheduling activity, beam configuration, BFI detection, BFD, beam loss, etc. A WTRU may be configured with multiple DRX cycles and measurement opportunities (e.g., with different periodicities). The WTRU may perform (e.g., RS) measurement(s) with determined/configured timing (e.g., DRX on-durations) in a first DRX cycle based on condition(s). The WTRU may switch to a second DRX cycle and perform RS measurement(s) with determined/configured timing based on condition(s) (e.g., counted number of BFIs detected in first DRX cycle). The WTRU may switch from the second (e.g., short) DRX cycle to the first (e.g., long) DRX cycle or to non-DRX operation (e.g., DRX suspension or reset DRX inactivity timer) based on condition(s) (e.g., number of BFIs in first and/or second DRX cycle(s)).

    Abstract: A WTRU may be configured to perform radio link monitoring (RLM) based on RLM reference signals (RLM-RSs) transmitted in a cell operating in an unlicensed spectrum. The WTRU may evaluate a radio link failure (RLF) status for the cell using a first RLM criteria based on the RLM-RSs. A transmission instance of the RLM-RSs may be skipped, for example, due to a listen before talk (LBT) failure at a gNodeB (gNB). The WTRU may adapt or change the first RLM criteria and/or evaluate the RLF status of the cell operating in the unlicensed spectrum using a second RLM criteria based on determining that the transmission instance of the RLM-RSs was skipped. The first RLM criteria may correspond to a first RLM process that utilizes a first set of RLM parameters. The second RLM criteria may correspond to a second RLM process that utilizes a second set of RLM parameters.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and a method are described herein regarding preservation of positioning integrity associated with wireless systems. Using multiple positioning configurations and/or schemes (e.g., positioning reference signal (PRS) configurations/schemes), e.g., based on a switching pattern, may ensure integrity (e.g., adequate and/or robust integrity), for example, if error events (e.g., low reference signal received power, blockage of PRS from transmission/reception points (TRPs), etc.) have a persistent duration. The WTRU comprises a processor configured to receive a first, a second and a third subset of PRS configuration information, receive configuration information indicating error source information, a first switching pattern, and a positioning uncertainty threshold, perform a first set of measurements using the first switching pattern and the first and second subsets of PRS configuration information, determine a first positioning uncertainty based on the first set of measurements and the error source information, and send an indication indicating measurement information and positioning uncertainty information.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities may be disclosed for implementing a flexible radio access communication system. A flexible radio access communication system may be supported using spectrum of varying size, including aggregation of non-adjacent carriers in the same and/or in different frequency bands. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first transmission via a common downlink control channel. The first transmission may include first control information. The first control information may include information regarding the configuration of a first dedicated downlink control channel of one or more dedicated control channels. The WTRU may receive a second transmission via the first dedicated downlink control channel of the dedicated control channels. The second transmission may include second control information. The second control information may be associated with a transmission of a first transmission type. The dedicated downlink control channels may be used for providing control information associated with different types of transmissions.
