    摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities may be disclosed for implementing a flexible radio access communication system. A flexible radio access communication system may be supported using spectrum of varying size, including aggregation of non-adjacent carriers in the same and/or in different frequency bands. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first transmission via a common downlink control channel. The first transmission may include first control information. The first control information may include information regarding the configuration of a first dedicated downlink control channel of one or more dedicated control channels. The WTRU may receive a second transmission via the first dedicated downlink control channel of the dedicated control channels. The second transmission may include second control information. The second control information may be associated with a transmission of a first transmission type. The dedicated downlink control channels may be used for providing control information associated with different types of transmissions.

    摘要: Logical channel (LCH) may be multiplexed together based on one or more latency requirements. Mapping of LCH(s) to spectrum operating mode(s) (SOM(s)) may be based on SOM capability and/or LCH requirements. A WTRU may determine mapping based on one or more pre-defined rules. The mapping may be based on one or more requirements for the various type of traffic and/or SOM capabilities. A radio bearer may be mapped to one or more SOMs. The WTRU may be configured with a set of SOMs, for one or more, or each, radio bearer. The WTRU may dynamically determine, for example based on radio conditions, buffer status and/or other parameters, the SOM to use. Incompatible multiplexing of LCH may be reduced and/or avoided, perhaps based on using one or more transport blocks (TBs) mapped to the same physical layer (PHY). Traffic may be prioritized based on one or more latency requirements.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for performing device-to-device (D2D) discovery are described. A service discovery process may include a discoverable device (e.g., a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU)) sending a discovery request, over a wireless connection, for a radio resource for the purpose of performing a transmission for radio frequency (RF) proximity detection for a given service. The WTRU may receive a discovery response including a configuration for RF proximity detection from a network, which configuration may be associated to the service. The configuration for RF proximity may be received by dedicated signaling, (e.g., physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH)), in particular for a discoverable WTRU. The configuration for RF proximity may be received on a broadcast channel, (e.g., a discovery shared channel (DISCH)), in particular for a monitoring WTRU, and may include one or more service identities, each associated with an RF proximity detection configuration, or a validity information and a measurement configuration.

    摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for generating a protocol data unit (PDU). An apparatus may comprise a processor configured to provide a medium access control (MAC) entity and a segmentation entity. The MAC entity may indicate an amount of data associated with the segmentation entity to be multiplexed by the MAC entity. The segmentation entity may segment, based on the indicated amount of data, a service data unit (SDU) into a segment, and the MAC entity may multiplex the segment into a MAC protocol data unit (PDU). The MAC PDU may include a field that indicates whether the segment is included and whether the segment is a last segment. The apparatus may further comprise a transmitter configured to transmit the MAC PDU.
