    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, an electronic device and a computer program for determining bending of a flexible display. The flexible display comprises two parallel capacitive layers and an isolator layer between the two parallel capacitive layers, wherein each capacitive layer comprises multiple capacitive electrodes pairs. The method measures capacitance values of the capacitive electrodes pairs. And then the method determines the bending of the flexible display based on the result of measurement.

    Abstract: Initiating a communication group of devices using device vibration includes encoding a message into a vibration signal using an encoder in a master device, the message including a connection request. A vibration pattern is emitted using a vibration motor by controlling the vibration motor to vibrate with a pattern corresponding to modulations of the vibration signal to send the message through a medium in contact with the master device. A response vibration pattern is received from responding devices using a sensor, the response vibration pattern carrying a response message. The response vibration pattern is decoded with a decoder of the master device to extract the response message from the response vibration pattern. A communication group is established at a host according to the response message for communication between the master device and the responding devices.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for verifying an authenticity of a message. The method comprises acquiring a first hash value corresponding to the message, and acquiring a verification code corresponding to the message. The method further comprises computing a second hash value based on the verification code and the message, and verifying the authenticity of the message by comparing the first hash value with the second hash value.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving an eye gaze of a source user generated by a source augmented reality or virtual reality device (source AR/VR device) on a receiver AR/VR device. The method also includes determining gazed content from the eye gaze of the source user using a password key phrase determination feature. In addition, the method includes generating a symmetric password key utilizing the gazed content according to a set of password determination rules. Moreover, the method includes performing an operation using the receiver AR/VR device, the operation being secured by the symmetric password key. The symmetric password key is not exchanged with any other device. Other systems, methods, and computer program products for generating a symmetric password key from an eye gaze are presented in accordance with more embodiments.

    Abstract: Methods, computer program products, systems are provided for securely performing electronic transactions over a network. An acoustic wave signal is received. The acoustic wave signal is encoded with at least an identifier of a payer of a transaction and transaction information of the transaction. The identifier of the payer and the transaction information is then obtained from the acoustic wave signal. A bone conduction characteristic of the payer is retrieved based on the identifier of the payer and based on the received bone conduction characteristic of the payer, the payer is verified. Completion of the transaction is allowed based on the transaction information in response to the payer being verified.
