Abstract: A display unit includes a plurality of pixels and a drive circuit. The plurality of pixels each includes a light emitting device, a transistor, and a capacitor. The drive circuit writes an image signal into each of the pixels and thereby performs display drive. The pixels as a whole are dividable into a plurality of pixel groups. The drive circuit performs intermittent stopping of the display drive for the respective pixel groups independently of each other in a still image display period based on the image signal.

Abstract: A display panel includes a plurality of pixels and a plurality of power lines. The plurality of pixels are disposed in a matrix and include respective light-emitting devices and respective pixel circuits. The pixel circuits are disposed at unequal intervals in a column direction. The light-emitting devices are provided to allow light-emitting regions of the respective light-emitting devices to have an equal interval in the column direction. The plurality of power lines are extended in a row direction and each supply a current flowing into the light-emitting device. Each one of the plurality of power lines is disposed for a plurality of pixel rows. A spacing between the pixel circuits in the column direction is relatively large at a portion facing one of the power lines. A spacing between the pixel circuits in the column direction is relatively small at a portion facing wiring other than the power lines.

Abstract: A pixel circuit includes a driving transistor, a write transistor, a first switching transistor, a first storage capacitor, a second and third switching transistors, and a second storage capacitor. The driving transistor controls a current flowing in a light-emitting device. The write transistor controls application of a signal voltage to a source end of the driving transistor. The first switching transistor controls a gate voltage of the driving transistor during correction operation that allows a gate-source voltage of the driving transistor to come close to a threshold voltage of the driving transistor. The second switching and third switching transistors are provided, in series, at an electrically conductive path between the source end of the driving transistor and a first voltage line.

Abstract: A transfer circuit includes an input circuit, a reset circuit, an output circuit, and an output stabilizer circuit, and obtains an input signal at an input terminal, holds the input signal, and outputs the input signal from an output terminal as an output signal in synchronization with a clock signal. The output stabilizer circuit includes an inverter circuit and a transistor. The inverter circuit outputs from an output terminal an inverted signal having an inverted polarity of at least one of the input signal and the output signal. The transistor has a control signal end connected to the output terminal of the inverter circuit, a first main signal end connected to a power supply line of the output stabilizer circuit, and a second main signal end connected to the output terminal of the transfer circuit.
