摘要: A communication system includes a trainee communications device and one or more trainer communications devices. The trainee communications device announces a first period of time for beamforming training, switches a receiving antenna pattern to a sector and stays in the sector for a second period of time. The trainer communications devices transmit one or more predetermined bit sequences in the first period of time. The predetermined bit sequences are transmitted in at least one sector. Each of the predetermined bit sequences carries an identifier identifying the transmitting trainer communications device. The trainee communications device further estimates channel characteristics and computes receiving antenna weighting vectors of the trainer communications devices by using the received predetermined bit sequences, respectively, and the trainer communications devices obtain pertinent information including the estimated channel characteristics and receiving time of the predetermined bit sequences about beamforming training from the trainee communications device.

摘要: A method is provided for sharing a communications channel in a wireless communications system. A network coordinating device of the wireless network obtains a first path quality information of each of a first set of one or more communications paths between a first pair of communications devices. The coordinating device also obtains a second path quality information of each of a second set of communications paths between a second pair of communications devices. The coordinating device then determines one or more co-existing communications paths based on the first and the second path quality information in accordance with a predetermined rule. Finally, the coordinating device sends channel resource allocation information to the first pair and the second pair of communications devices to use corresponding co-existing communications paths such that the first pair and the second pair of communications devices communicate over the communications channel during a period of time concurrently.

摘要: A drying machine includes a hot air blower, a housing divided horizontally into plural long chambers having an open upper side, a closed bottom and two longitudinal sides bored with through holes, a screw conveyor respectively positioned in each long chamber, and a motor to rotate all the screw conveyors, and a sending-out screw conveyor positioned on the bottom of the housing. Each screw conveyor has an inner screw and an outer screw twisting in opposite direction for conveying, squeezing, mixing and stirring material at the same time dried by hot air coming from the blower. Material falls down from a funnel on the upper side of the housing and gradually falling down through the through holes and an outlet in an end of the bottom of the highest long chamber and then into a second highest long chamber and so on to the lowest portion of the housing to be conveyed by the sending-out screw conveyor to an exit through which dried material falls down through for collected.

摘要: A method and system is provided for link layer scheduling for networked applications in a coordinator-based communications system. A network-coordinating device receives a request from a networked application to establish a communications session. The request includes a set of session parameters. The network-coordinating device allocates a first transmission opportunity in response to the request. The network-coordinating device allocates successive transmission opportunities based on the set of session parameters without receiving successive requests. The set of session parameters comprises at least one of a predetermined flow control mechanism, a quality-of-service (QoS) requirement, a bandwidth requirement, and an application type. In one embodiment, the predetermined flow control mechanism is additive increase and multiplicative decrease (AIMD) of transmission control protocol (TCP). Using the novel link layer scheduling, the network-coordinating device is able to allocate and adjust successive transmission opportunities to match the upper-layer resource requirement and traffic pattern dynamically.

摘要: A communication system is provided. A first communications device transmits at least one first message including predetermined bit sequences. A second communications device determines one or more antenna weighting vectors (AWVs) and one or more bitloading vectors (BLVs) by using the first message in accordance with a predetermined rule and transmits a second message including information pertinent to the AWVs and the BLVs to the first communications device. The first communications device further communicates with the second communications device about an AWV selected from the AWVs and the first and second communications devices apply the selected AWV to the corresponding antennas before exchanging data. The data includes a header carrying information pertinent to a BLV selected from the BLVs used to encode the data and a payload is transmitted to the second communications device. The second communications device decodes the data in accordance with the selected BLV.

摘要: A communications system is provided. A first communications device requests one or more dedicated service periods, via a request, to transmit a high rate real-time streaming data. A second communications device receives the request and schedules the dedicated service periods and one or more contention based periods. A third communications device receives the high rate real-time streaming data and requests the first communications device to re-transmit a portion of the high rate real-time streaming data. The request includes information about the high rate real-time streaming data and information pertinent to a probability of re-transmission. The contention based periods are scheduled to provide the first communications device having higher priority over communications devices of the communications system. The first communications device transmits the high rate real-time streaming data using the dedicated service periods, and re-transmits the portion of the high rate real-time streaming data using the contention based periods.

The first pattern, the second pattern, the third pattern and the fourth pattern are of a serial connection. The free end of the first pattern connects a feeding point. The free end of the fourth pattern connects a grounding point. Thus, the antenna has advantages of compact size and low cost, due to the antenna unit printed on the substrate and the pattern of the antenna unit.

摘要: System and method of using an AP to individually controlling RTS/CTS duration thresholds for multiple STAs in a WLAN. In response to a STA's association request, the AP determines a duration threshold specific to the STA and encloses this information in an association request response for transmission to the STA. By using a broadcast frame, the AP may instruct multiple STAs to uniformly update their stored duration thresholds. For example, if the duration threshold field in the beacon frame is set to 0, the multiple STAs preserve their current duration thresholds; if the field is set to a non-zero value less than 1023, the multiple STAs all update their duration thresholds to the non-zero value; if this field is set to 1023, the multiple STAs disable the RTS/CTS transmissions. Based on a current threshold and pertinent policies, an STA can decide whether to initiate an RTS/CTS transmission sequence.
