    Abstract: A detection device includes: a substrate having a sensor region in which photosensors are arranged in a first direction and a second direction. In the sensor region, the substrate includes: read control scan lines extending in the first direction and configured to transmit read control signals; and output signal lines extending in the second direction. The photosensors includes: dummy elements comprising first photodiodes and arranged along a contour of the sensor region; and detection elements comprising second photodiodes and arranged on an inner side of a dummy region in which the dummy elements are arranged. The dummy elements are coupled to neither the read control scan lines nor the output signal lines. The detection elements are coupled to the read control scan lines and the output signal lines and are configured to, after receiving the read control signals, output signals generated by the first photodiodes to the output signal lines.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, provide is a liquid crystal display device that suppresses potential change of a common electrode caused by potential change of a signal line. An electrode part is provided on an array substrate so as to surround a display region. A signal line is provided on the array substrate so as to be located in the display region. A passivation film is provided on the array substrate so as to cover at least the signal line and the electrode part. A one-side opening part is provided continuously along an edge part of the display region on the passivation film so that the electrode part is disposed. The common electrode is provided on the array substrate so that a part of the common electrode is located at the one-side opening part and another part of the common electrode is located facing the signal line on the passivation film.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes signal lines, scanning lines, pixel switching elements, a signal line driving circuit, a scanning line driving circuit and a display pixel, wherein the signal line driving circuit is configured to apply a voltage, which is identical to a voltage of the counter-electrode, to all the signal lines when a control signal, which is supplied from an outside of the insulative substrate, is at a first logic level, and the scanning line driving circuit is configured to turn on all the pixel switching elements when the control signal is at the first logic level, and to turn off the pixel switching elements at different timings when the control signal is at a second logic level.
