Abstract: An organic luminescent display device according to the invention includes: an element substrate; an organic film; and an organic electro luminescent element formed on the organic film. The organic electro luminescent element includes: an anode formed on the organic film; a light emitting layer formed on the anode; and a cathode formed on the light emitting layer. The anode includes: an adhesion layer formed in contact with an upper surface of the organic film; a reflection layer and formed in contact with an upper surface of the adhesion layer; and a light transmitting contact layer formed on the reflection layer. An edge portion of an outer periphery of the adhesion layer is positioned outside an edge portion of an outer periphery of the reflection layer as viewed in a plan view.

Abstract: An organic EL display device has a pixel electrode and a common electrode, a first insulating layer that covers a thin-film transistor, a first wire provided on the first insulating layer to electrically connect the thin-film transistor and the pixel electrode, a second wire provided on the first insulating layer to be connected to a gate electrode of the thin-film transistor, and a conducting film formed on the first wire and the second wire from a material on which an oxide film is harder to be formed than those of the first wire and the second wire. At least one of the pixel electrode, the first wire, and the second wire and the conducting film are located to overlap above the first insulating layer in electrical insulation so that a capacitor that retains a control signal is formed between the first wire and the second wire.

Abstract: Provided is a display device having a flexible substrate including an active region and a wiring region. The active region possesses a plurality of pixels each including a display element. The wiring region has a plurality of terminals, and a plurality of wirings extends from the active region to the plurality of terminals. An insulating film included in the active region and extending from the active region has a sidewall between an edge of the flexible substrate and the wiring adjacent to the edge in the wiring region. The sidewall has a curved portion on a plane in which the plurality of wirings is arranged, and a distance between the edge and the curved portion is curvedly varied.

Abstract: The present invention overcomes image defects such as the brightness inclination or smears by reducing the line resistance of a power source bus line which supplies electricity to organic EL elements. A plurality of pixels which are arranged in a matrix array is connected to power source lines, and the plurality of power source lines are connected to a power source bus line. Both ends of the power source bus line are connected to a power source part via a FPC. By supplying electricity to both ends of the power source bus line from the power source part, the line resistance of the power source bus line can be reduced.
