摘要: A power control apparatus for automatically turning on and off a motherboard, the power control apparatus includes a power supply supplying electric power to the motherboard periodically, a control circuit including a first switch element, a second switch element, a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a first resistor, and a second resistor. When the power supply is powered up, the second capacitor is charged, the second switch element is turned on, a second terminal of the second switch element outputs a low level signal to power up the motherboard. When the motherboard is powered up, the first capacitor is charged, the first switch element is turned on, the second switch element is turned off, the second terminal of the second switch element outputs a high level signal. The motherboard is powered off when the power supply is powered off.

摘要: An exemplary voltage regulator module (VRM) control circuit includes a VRM providing a plurality of phases, each of the phases connected to a control terminal of a corresponding electric switch; a comparator comprising a non-inverting terminal connected to a first power source and grounded via the electric switches respectively, an inverting terminal connected to a reference voltage, and an output terminal; and a control switch connected between an enable terminal of the VRM and ground, the control switch comprising a control terminal connected to the output terminal of the comparator, wherein, if one of the phases of the VRM is lost, the corresponding electric switch is turned off, and a voltage of the non-inverting terminal of the comparator is higher than the reference voltage, the comparator outputs a control signal to the control switch for turning on the control switch, thus turning off the VRM.

When the voltage regulator circuit outputs a voltage greater than a predetermined stable voltage to the sampling circuit, the sampling circuit outputs a low level signal to the switching circuit which in return outputs a high level signal to the control terminal of the power connector to cut off power supply from the power source to the system power source.

摘要: A fan failure alarm device includes a first digital-analog converting circuit (200), a first diode (D11), a switching circuit (260), an input-output (I/O) controller (U11), and an alarm circuit (270). The first digital-analog converting circuit receives a digital pulse signal from a first fan, and outputs a direct current (DC) voltage signal at an output terminal. The first diode with a cathode coupled to the output terminal of the first digital-analog converting circuit, the first diode turns on when the first fan stops rotating. The switching circuit with an input terminal coupled to an anode of the first diode, outputs a first control signal when the fan rotates normally and outputs a second control signal when the fan stops rotating. The input-output (I/O) controller receives the first and second control signals from the switching circuit, and outputs an alarm signal when receives the second control signal. The alarm circuit receives the alarm signal from the I/O controller, and activates an alarm.

A positive terminal of the diode is connected to one of the output end of the load circuits. The other one of the output ends of the load circuits is connected to the current sampling pin via the input resistor.
