Abstract:
A sprinkler support for the in-ground sprinkler heads includes a base at the lower position, a sidewall extending vertically ascending from the base, a clamping structure disposed at the sidewall of the sprinkler support to secure the sprinkler head, a cushioning structure capable to absorb physical stresses, and anchoring structures holding the sprinkler support with respect to the soil. The sprinkler support accommodates a variety of different size of sprinkler heads by having an adapter, by cantilever fingers extended from the sidewall upwardly or by constructing with two halves, wherein each half comprises the base and sidewall.
Abstract:
Current sources, systems including the current source, and methods for regulating and/or controlling a circuit using the current source. The current source is generally configured to (i) receive a reference current, a bias voltage and a feedback/input current and (ii) provide an output current. The systems generally include the current source, a circuit directly or indirectly receiving the output current, a bias source/generator configured to provide the bias voltage, and a current reference configured to sink or source a predetermined amount of current from or to the output current. The method generally includes (a) applying a bias voltage to the current source, the current source receiving an input current and providing an output current; (b) sinking or sourcing a reference current from or to the output current; (c) applying the output of the current source directly or indirectly to a regulated circuit; and (d) providing the input current from the regulated circuit.

Abstract:
A method of fabricating a flexible mold for forming a flat display panel, comprising: forming a plurality of protrusions on a flexible film, forming plated patterns between the protrusions on the flexible film, the plated patterns having an inverted shape corresponding to partitions that define one or more sub-pixel regions in the panel, and removing the protrusions to form a flexible material.
Abstract:
A peer communication terminal 200 programmed to operate in a peer-to-peer network. The terminals includes a transceiver 210, a controller 220 coupled to the transceiver and to a memory device 230, and a a mapping table stored in memory, wherein the mapping table associates a terminal identity to corresponding transport information for at least one other peer terminal.
Abstract:
A manufacturing method of an active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display and an apparatus for manufacturing the AMOLED display, where the display has improved surface flatness and thickness uniformity as well as an improved image quality at edge regions of a pattern. According to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an anode electrode is formed on a lower structure of a substrate, an organic layer is formed on the anode electrode by imaging a complex laser beam on a donor film disposed on the substrate having light emitting materials, the complex laser beam having energy distribution inclination over 2%/μm at a threshold energy. The donor film is removed, and a cathode electrode is formed on the organic layer.
Abstract:
The pocket drilling fixture has a clamp base with a clamp face thereon. Opposing it is a clamp body with an opposing clamp face. Clamp structure, including a clamp arm on the base urges the faces together to clamp over a workpiece therebetween in a clamping direction. A guide carrier is mounted on the base to move in the direction at a right angle to the clamping direction. The base has a turret thereon with stops which can be positioned beneath the guide carrier to set its height above the base so that height can be preselected, depending on the workpiece thickness.
Abstract:
A refrigerating apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a housing having at least one food storage compartment. A fan and an evaporator are provided for generating a stream of chilled air. A delivery duct carries the chilled air to a delivery vent opening in the food storage compartment and an air return duct carries air from a return vent opening in the food storage compartment back to the fan and evaporator. A food storage drawer is mounted in the food storage compartment and is slidably movable between an open and closed position. The drawer has inlet and outlet vent openings to positions adjacent the delivery and return vent openings when the drawer is in its closed position. Movable dampers are mounted adjacent each vent opening and are biased toward a closed position blocking the vent openings. Push rods are mounted on the ducts and the drawer which engage and open the dampers when the drawer is moved into its closed position thereby allowing air to flow between the delivery vent opening and the inlet opening and between the outlet opening and the return vent opening. When the drawer is moved out of its closed position, the springs bias the dampers to their closed positions.
Abstract:
An adjustable T-square apparatus comprising a generally triangular frame having first and second working surfaces normal to each other and a third working surface at a 45.degree. angle to the first and second working surfaces is disclosed. The apparatus further comprises three level vials mounted on the frame in parallel relation to separate working surfaces. A pair of measuring blades are slidably mounted on the frame in parallel relation to the first and second working surfaces.
Abstract:
An automatic paper cutting apparatus includes an X-Y cutter, a cutter controller, and a pattern booklet. The pattern booklet includes a plurality of pattern identifiers and a memory device with cutting instructions for each of the identified patterns. The booklet removably mounts to the cutter controller so that an operator can select a pattern from the pattern booklet and have the memory device provide the corresponding set of cutting instructions to the cutter controller. The cutter controller uses the instructions to control the X-Y cutter and cut the desired pattern. A cutting platform of the X-Y cutter has a tacky adhesive that releaseably secures a work piece to the cutting platform during cutting operations. The cutting platform includes surface features that engage a spur gear. The cutter controller selectively rotates the spur gear to drive the cutting platform in the Y direction. The apparatus may use a journaling, embossing, perforating instrument instead of the cutter to make a pattern on the work piece.
