Abstract: Systems and methods relate generally to contextually providing a dynamic user interface. In an example method thereof, an apps list is obtained by a dynamic scheduling service for an operating system. The apps list is generated responsive to a query by the operating system responsive to a request by the dynamic scheduling service. Dynamic scheduling data is obtained by the dynamic scheduling service, which includes generating the dynamic scheduling data by an artificial intelligence service including filtering apps on the apps list responsive to a policy. A dynamic user interface is created by the dynamic scheduling service responsive to the dynamic scheduling data, which includes deactivating one or more of the apps on the apps list by the artificial intelligence service responsive to the policy.

Abstract: The present application is directed to system and method for pre-generation of page description language (PDL) for printing. Aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods, systems, and computer readable mediums for pre-generating a page description language (PDL) print job for documents for printing. Such pre-generation of the PDL achieves almost instantaneous and efficient printing experience. The methods, systems, and computer readable mediums by pre-generation of the PDL achieves faster printing turnaround time from the time when user clicks “OK” to print the document to the time user picks up the print out is required. The method for pre-generating a PDL print job for a document for printing can determine an instance to pre-generate the PDL print job for the document before the manual election for printing, and issuing a printing instruction in response to a manual election, to send of the pre-generated PDL print job to a printing device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for arranging shapes within a document prior to printing cut-out patterns are described. A printing device may identify and group contents in a page of a print job as shapes to be cut out from the paper after they are printed. The printing device may then detect the grouped page contents as cut-out patterns. For each cut-out pattern, the printing device may detect the white spaces of content of the cut-out pattern and mark them as available for printing other cut-out patterns. Thus, the printing device may print multiple cut-out patterns on a same page based on using the white space within larger cut-out patterns.

Abstract: Example systems and related methods may relate to monitoring performance of an image forming operation. Namely, a system includes an image forming apparatus configured to execute an operation in response to receiving instructions to execute the operation. The system further includes an external sensor circuit that includes one or more sensors and a processor. The one or more sensors are configured to detect a status of an operational parameter of the image forming apparatus indicative of the image forming apparatus executing the operation and receive an instruction to exclude at least a portion of data used to detect the status of the operational parameter. The system further includes a host computing device. The host computing device is configured to generate a plurality of timestamps indicative of when the image forming apparatus executed the operation and a time frame when the external sensor circuit excluded data.

Abstract: Pre-rendering prior receiving a command to print is disclosed for a pre-rendering system for online and offline documents. In an example thereof, a plug-in is hosted in a computing device. A system service operative by the computing device is configured for receiving commands from the plug-in. The system service is configured to issue an instruction responsive to a command from the plug-in to at least one of a printing manager of a server or a printer engine of a printing device. The printer engine is configured to pre-render a document image to provide a pre-rendered document image responsive to the instruction. In another example, a plug-in is hosted in a computing device including an image processor. A system service operative by the computing device is configured for receiving commands from the plug-in. The image processor is configured to pre-render a document image responsive to a command of the commands.

Abstract: A printing system includes a digital front end (DFE) system connected to a plurality of printing devices. The DFE system manages printing operations to the plurality of printing devices. The DFE system also includes a printing device connectivity manager to manage connections with the printing devices. Printing connectivity modules are installed at the printing device connectivity manager using application programming interfaces (APIs) that are loaded at the creation of the printing connectivity modules. The DFE system also includes a display device connectivity manager to manage connections with display devices using display connectivity modules and display connectivity APIs. The DFE system also includes a storage connectivity manager to manage data storage and storage devices using storage connectivity modules and storage connectivity APIs.

Abstract: Methods related to pre-processing a print job are disclosed. In an example method thereof, it is determined whether a document file is loaded in an application for the print job. Identifying information for the document file is retrieved. A data set obtained from the identifying information is sent to a print manager. A print history for the document file is updated responsive to the data set. The print job includes: pre-rendering of the document file into a document image; and caching of the document image. Print settings of the print job are associated with the document file. The print settings are tracked to provide criteria data to identify frequency of use of the document file.

Abstract: Systems and methods relate generally to contextual features for a printing device. In an example method thereof, features of a printing device configuration are queried by a firmware service. The features obtained by a first dynamic scheduling service associated with the printing device are packaged. The features packaged are retrieved to provide a features list thereof by a second dynamic scheduling service for a driver associated with the printing device. Dynamic scheduling data is generated by an artificial intelligence service including deactivating one or more of the features responsive to a policy. The generating of the dynamic scheduling data includes filtering the features using the policy by the artificial intelligence service. A dynamic user interface is created by the second dynamic scheduling service responsive to the dynamic scheduling data.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for encoding data streams are provided. A computing device can receive an encoder-input data stream (EIDS) encoded in a encoder-input format. The computing device can reformat the EIDS into an encoder-output data stream (EODS) encoded in an encoder-output format that differs from the encoder-input format. The EODS can include a page table for pages, resources of the pages that include reusable resources used multiple times, and binary-formatted commands related to the resources, which are stored in stored in first-come, first-served fashion. The page table can refer to pages of the EODS. The EODS can be based on a resource table storing entries for each reusable resource. Each reusable resource is stored only once in the EODS. The computing device can generate an output based on the EODS.
