摘要： A display apparatus used in a hand-held device is provided. The display apparatus includes a first display, a second display, a plurality of input devices, and a processing unit. The first display is a non-volatile display, and the second display is a volatile display. The input devices are for operational inputs. The processing unit displays edited information on the second display in response to the operational inputs from the input devices for editing inputs, and updates the first display with the edited information in response to the operational input from the input device for conformation inputs. A related method is also provided.

摘要： A portable electronic apparatus for receiving and displaying electronic files with identification code is provided. The identification code indicates whether the electronic file is an instant file or a common file. The portable electronic apparatus includes a main part, a data storage, and a receiving unit. The main part being selective in a “power-on” state or a “power-off” state is for displaying the electronic file and obtaining the instant electronic file from the data storage to display when the main part enters into the “power-on” state. The receiving unit is for receiving the electronic file, determining according to the identification code whether the electronic file is an instant file and whether the main part is in the “power-on” state; and storing the electronic file to the data storage and controlling the main part in the “power-on” state if the electronic file is an instant file but the main part is in the “power-off” state.

摘要： A robot and its component control module are disclosed. The robot includes a CPU and at least two component modules. Each component control module includes at least one actuator, at least one sensor, and a controller. The sensor is used for detecting outside information and correspondingly generating a sensing signal. The controller receives the sensing signal, controls the actuator to perform an action according to the sensing signal and sends the sensing signal to the CPU. The CPU receives the sensing signal, gets the outside information associated with the sensing signal, generates action instruction according to the outside information, and sends out the action instruction to the corresponding component control module. The controller of the corresponding component control module controls the actuator of the component control module to perform an action according to the action instruction. The robot responds quickly to outside information.

摘要： An electronic device includes a first rechargeable battery, a solar cell mounted on the electronic device, a second rechargeable battery and a power management circuit. The power management circuit includes a control module, a DC/DC module, a switch and a power supply switching module. The DC/DC module is configured for converting the DC power generated by the solar cell from one voltage level to another, and activating and maintaining the activation of the control module. The switch is turned on by the control module when the control module is activated, causing the DC power from the DC/DC module to charge the second rechargeable battery. The power supply switching module is controlled by the control module to select the second rechargeable battery to power the electronic device if the voltage level of the rechargeable battery is lower than that of the second rechargeable battery.
